I am so grateful to the ladies at Sherrys for the service they provide. I've been experiencing hair loss for a while now and have been so afraid to even walk in the door somewhere. They made it so easy! The girls there fitted me with a beautiful top piece that blends so perfect with my hair. I feel good about myself for the first time in a long time. Thank you Sherrys wigs!
My mother-in-law's hair is just starting to grow in after having chemo. She has a few wigs, but she was wanting to get something more like her normal hair.
As we walked in, we noticed a woman sitting in a chair working on an IPad. My MIL asked her if she worked there. The woman rudely said, "Yeah...I'm getting up." My MIL showed her a picture of a wig she was interested in looking at. The woman said, "We don't have that here. That is just a picture from the Internet." My MIL explained that she didn't want that exact wig but something similar to it. She liked that it was curly like her original hair and was a light brown with blond highlights. She told her that is what her hair was like before having chemo.
The woman then asked if she could see my MIL's hair. She picked up the wig, and the lady said, "Your hair is grey. It's not brown or blond, just grey. You don't really want grey hair do you?" My MIL tried to explain that she hasn't dyed it in a long time, so some of the roots are grey. The majority of her hair is light brown. The lady ignored her and said, "No, it's grey under your wig."
Then she went on to tell her that the wig she had on was not made of a good material and looked cheap. We were shocked! Needless to say, we will not be going back!
I would think that a company that makes wigs for people that have had cancer and had to endure chemo would be more thoughtful, kind, and considerate. I am appalled by how rude and disrespectful this business was to my sweet mom-in-law!
My mother in-law had cancer. The woman I loved so dearly and held so close in my heart passed just over a year ago. What a journey. But there are the little things. Like the women of Sherry's Wigs, Sherry and Brandee. These two women made my mother in-law feel so good about herself after she lost her hair from chemo. From Purchase to maintenance it was an all-around good experience. They gave her hope and kept her spirits high. I can't imagine what we would have done without you! It's more than wigs these ladies provide, its kindness, hope and self-confidence. When you are so down and out, it's the little things that can bring you back. They are a part of our family now. We will always have a place in our hearts for Sherry's wigs, Thank you Ladies. Thank you for putting that smile on her face.
I went to Sherrys store a few weeks ago because a friend recommended them to me. I was in need of a hair piece as I have very thin hair on top. Brandy helped me to find one that looks so much like my hair used too. I feel so much better about myself after visiting this place! She thinned and cut the piece until it was just right. How great is it that they are able to cut and style and I was able to wall out with it on my head. Thanks Sherrys wigs! You have another loyal customer!
I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with my purchase of wigs from Sherry's Wig Shop.
Having gone through Cancer treatments this past year, I went to Sherry's to purchase my first wig after my hair loss back in April 2010. I was and am very pleased with their courtesy and honesty.to tell you if the wig is the right one for you or not. I can tell you the best compliments I have received while wearing my wigs is they didn't know it is a wig and they love my new hairstyle.
