Man's Best Friend

Had a bad experience with a rude young male staff member. When we picked up our dogs it was obvious they hadn't been potty in a while. They peed for almost 5 straight minutes outside. When I realized that I left one of the dogs collars in the building my boyfriend went in to get it and slipped on urine. The male staff member scolded my boyfriend saying it was our dogs urine. Then he argued that the collar would not have been left at the facility. The sweet lady at the desk had already retrieved the lost collar for my boyfriend and scolded the young male for not letting the dogs out more frequently. To which the male staff member responded," don't you EVER, correct me in front of people!" Needless to say Petsmart will forever have our business and we will never return to Man's Best Friend!

Thank you very much for helping Hank and me by giving me the tools to properly communicate with him. He was crazy with no listening skills no focus and he would jump on everyone. When we brought Haley to Man’s Best Friend, she was very stubborn and somewhat uncontrollable. She’s always been a very loving dog but definitely has a mind of her own. Since we left her with Jerad and he whipped her into shape she has been, much more mindful, obedient, and more enjoyable to be with. She listens so much better….it is just amazing!

We tried other obedience training with “Champ” prior to bringing him to Man’s Best Friend without much luck. We were about to give up hope in getting rid of Champ’s bad behaviors. Since his training he has been a different dog. He listens so well to all the commands and has been much easier to have around. Thanks!!

The training for my Lazy was a miracle for us, we had trouble with him and very hesitant where to take him and if they would even make a change, and at this point anything was good, although money was a bit tight but anything for Lazy… so we went MBF and couldn’t be happier with the results. Thanks to everyone that made this happen.

Duke is a great dog and he loves to play; but he often played with things he shouldn't. His favorite “toys” were anything he could shred; books, magazines and Kleenex boxes. Most days also included attempts at Killing” (shaking and beating against the wall) rugs and pillows. Now he sticks to his own toys. Training has been great and even our other dog Samson has picked up on a lot of the commands.

When Sigi came in she had a major problem jumping up on people and counter tops . The trainer did a wonderful job with her. She rarely jumps on people now. She listens much better now and will sit and stay until I release her. Her training here has been a great experience.

In just 2 weeks Cooper has learned to heel & walk with me. He sits before walking through doors. He is no longer going potty in the house. He is also training me to have patience & be a good leader. Joe has been great in helping me train Cooper to be a great puppy! Cooper lives working with the friendly staff. Everyone who works here helps train me and Cooper! I would give the highest recommendations to Joe & Man’s Best Friend!

Jennie was a sweet dog but too bashful around new people. Now she is much more confident. And she is behaving much better, she enjoys her trips back and she is always thrilled to be reunited with MBF!

Alex is large and I needed help to be able to walk him and to really enjoy life with a dog. Mat’s methods worked extremely well with Alex. I also enjoy being a more intelligent owner since I have followed Mat’s guidance.
