The whole team at Spring Hill ER are extremely courteous and professional. The care given to me by Dr. Tyler and the nursing staff was first class and their receptionist extremely helpful and kind. I highly recommend them for any health related emergency issues!
The Spring Hill ER staff and doctors are incredibly helpful and caring. Unfortunately, in the past 3-4 years, both me and my husband have had to visit the ER for various reasons and all of the doctors AND staff were incredibly competent, caring and thorough with every visit. They even helped resolve an issue with a urologist office we were referred to. The urologist office wouldn't request medical records for the continuation of care/referral. So, to help us out, they allowed for us to pick up the medical records at the Spring Hill ER instead. I wish EVERY medical practice was as helpful and awesome like this ER. It's also such a blessing that we live so close -- I couldn't imagine going to another ER/hospital for everything we've had to endure.
I saw a doctor for 10 minutes and was charged 1,200 as I was in network with the ER but not the ER doctor. The provider refused to honor the "customary and usual" charges for the service. I will not be back. The facility charged me over 2,500 for being there about an hour and a half for fluids and anti-nausea meds. It was discounted to 50%. I will definitely take the short drive to Williamson Medical next time.
This place is horrible. I will never take my kids here to be seen. The inside is dirty. I took my kids to get physicals who have insurance and are covered by it. They billed me and then sent it to collections after I called and told them to bill the insurance company.
My sister was visiting from out of town and her daughter became ill. It was late and a holiday . She went to AFC and was very pleased . She said she received excellent care and was so impressed with both the doctor and the nursing staff. They even gave her daughter a popsicle !
I went here because my rheumatologist's office was closed for a few days and I was in a bad flare. This office advertises as an ER without the wait time, cost and hassle. I call BS. The doctor (Dr. Higgins) not only refused to give me a simple steroid shot like I could literally get at any walk in clinic or minute clinic but said that I was "too chronically ill" for anyone to get involved except for my specialist. Basically after refusing to treat me at all, I was on my way out. She was walking beside me to the waiting room and she asked about a heart device that I had. I was livid. Not only were people near but if she wasn't treating me anyway then it was none of her business. I flat out told her so and left. This place is a waste of time and Spring Hill land. The doctor explained to me they are "more of a clinic for vaccinations if people can't get in to their primary care doctor." Anyway, unless you need an "urgent" booster shot then don't waste your time, energy or money on this "urgent care" clinic.
I had a braces consult appt. set up for two children, TOC called ME to reschedule for a better time. Everything seemed pretty good, and Steve, the OM, had communicated via phone and email 2x to help us prep the paperwork. So far so good. We arrived a couple minutes early, the receptionist greeted us by name and said hold on, as she took a call. A few minutes after waiting on her we went back to the window and dropped off the paperwork we had downloaded from their website and had prepared for the appt., 15 minutes later she came out and asked for a HIPPA signature. In the 45 minutes we waited we watched 6 other people, including another new consult come in and be taken back to the Dentist. We listened to TOC tell a new patient how they charge for missed appts. Well as far as I'm concerned TOC missed my appt. by over 45 minutes, not a good first impression. If someone would have just come out and talked to us to explain why we were the first in and last to be seen, we might have been more understanding, but that didn't happen until we got feed up and left. About 10 min. after we walked out, the office manager noticed we were gone and called to apologize and explain he had new staff. I will add a star since Steve had that professional courtesy. You can do the math on the lost revenue of 2 sets of braces. I think we all know that had I been 45 minutes late, without communication, there would have been a charge and a cancelled appt. I think what most troubled me was that THEY called to reschedule and picked the time because it would allow them to service the consultation visit better. I wish it had worked out better, because their Sat./Evening appts. and payment options are the best in town.
Chris and Amanda are awesome. I had rotator cuff surgery on March 20th and two weeks later I'm doing great and going back to work. I had heard rumors rotator cuff physcial therapy being torture from hell, but it wasn't. The first few days going, Chris just massaged and stretched my arm and shoulder. It actually felt good to extend it. Ohhh and the machine that shocks the muscles is a creepy, yet really cool feeling. The treatment is a total success! I'll be back to running 5K soon! I'm so pleased! All the staff is very helpful, encouraging, and informative. The only gripe I have is that they are always busy. Maybe they need another PT person. But, it you want the best...it is worth the wait. Thanks Star PT of Spring Hill. Y'all ROCK!
