First, their custom boots take much longer than they advertise. I originally ordered at the end of April and didn't see my fire boots till the very last week of August. So much for having those done in 12, even 14, weeks like advertised. Second they charge an extra $75 for a custom upper- these are already custom boots so why is there another redundant fee? The custom upper I was told was for "extra" boot in the calf area because according to my measurements I have calves bigger than normal. I am a 5'6" 120 lb female- if my ankles and calves don't fit in your size 8 boot I certainly can't imagine any male doing so. Absurd sizing. Then they make you pay shipping every single time- that's $20-25 to have the try-on sent and returned , the pair sent and returned if changes needed, and the return shipping for my final return because I'm through with them. Third, the same man who always answers the phone is rude, has no customer skills, and clearly doesn't care about helping the customer get what they asked for. Fourth, after asking for fitting changes and paying to ship them back, they still didn't get it right, even though a note was included and I called multiple times to make sure they understood the issues; each time I called to check with my fitter the main rude receptionist said everything was fine and the fitter wasn't available. For boots that cost $450 without all that shipping it is really really not worth it. Stick to Whites, Drew's, anyone else
First I drove eight hours round trip to order a custom pair of boots and to be measured & fitted witch took and hour and a half. Finally after three months and already paying around $600 I made a call to them, And they had forgotten to even start on my boots. after countless phone conversations and months of hassle they wanted to refund my money and forget about me, but agreed after some arm twisting to make my boots. They finally after seven months finished my pair of boots in witch I drove another eight hours round trip to pick up. They did not fit any where close to my size, they refused to resize or make the right sized boots agin and just refunded my money to get me out of there hair. Overall It was a very poor experience, They had poor customer service, I found them to be very deceptive an not forth right with the customers. I personally would never recommend to any family or friends as well as any one who values quality services that they go threw any of the hassle I did with this boot company.
