Your vision center is a joke. Last week I made an appointment as I needed my prescription updated and it's so close to my new home I thought it'd be easy to go to the vision center at the Shadle store. I provided them with my insurance information. Today I arrived at 8:50 for my 9AM appointment. At 9:15 I'm finally asked to fill out some HIPPA paperwork. At 9:30 I'm informed that my insurance is out of network so it's going to cost me extra money to be seen. You had my insurance information for a WEEK. You could have called me at any point in that week (like you did on Friday to remind me of my appointment) to tell me this info. Needless to say I left, and will be taking my business elsewhere. Unless you have a ton of time to waste I would not advise seeking eye appointments at this business.
Because of this store I've decided to start shopping elsewhere. The employees look miserable and the store is badly ran.
I have called corporate several times now and did so again this morning and all because of the pharmacy. They miscount, constantly pills. My mom will get in her vehicle and count her meds before trying to drive home. Sad the educated people there can't manage to count. But this go 'round, they wouldn't fill a prescription that another local walmart filled originally for 180 pills....the lovely people working there tried telling my parents it was because that wasn't the way the prescription was written. That back fired when both the pullman store and drs office were called about them. Yes, I told corporate about all this and am waiting to be called back by the district manager. So, roll into just getting off the phone, this dude Chris in the pharmacy got snotty with my mom who wanted him to take a message since their systems aren't working currently about her meds and she wanted called back because her prescription had been verified, he was a prick, she asked his name and he said, "I don't know!" and hung up. I called back for his name and to talk to the pharmacy manager, got Chris' name, I'll be forwarding that to corporate and the manager Constantine, couldn't pick up after three transfers from customer service to him. Those transfer rings aren't a one and done ring either. One going battle with walmart since 9:23 a.m. 10-3-14 to 10:19 a.m. This is just today, not the numerous other times.
There is something wrong with this store. I am not going back there anymore. They treat their customers badly in the electronics department and at the customer service center. I feel sorry for the cashiers, they seem intimidated.
Nervous employees , especially the cashiers, non friendly environment , not recommended.
