They've sent me a pretty unprofessional and frankly creepy piece of junk mail, photo attached, which 1) got my address wrong, 2) plead "keep this matter private" (why??), 3) says they were trying to find my phone number on the internet (also why??), 4) doesn't actually allude at all to the fact that they're a real estate company. I'm not planning to sell any time soon, but if I were, I would definitely avoid them.
Wouldn't even give them 1 star if that was an option. Receptionist is rude. Agents don't return calls (even if you've been approved & told them you want the rental - i.e. calling to schedule lease signing). They will not get back to you no matter what you are calling about. Will allow tenants to got weeks with no heat, no appliance. And oh yeah - THEY DON'T REKEY THE DOOR LOCKS BEFORE A NEW TENANT MOVES IN!!!
RenCorp took over management of my building within a week of moving in. There were a couple issues that needed to be taken care of that the previous management had been made aware of, one, being the dishwasher needed replacement and two, being the carpet needing replaced due to animal urine from the previous tenant. RenCorp, specifically Ivy Batton has repeatedly has ignored my requests for the necessary repairs, I have placed multiple phone calls, messages, I submitted a request in writing, and gone into the office on two occasions all to no avail. Ivy Batton has even went so far as to say that the issue of the carpet was not "particularly egregious," that they were doing me a "favor," and that I'm "lucky" they were doing anything about it. After 6 weeks my dishwasher was finally replaced but not without headache and lost income from taking time off work to make sure it got done on two occasions. The carpet has still not been replaced.
Worst place ever!! As a former resident I felt like I was there just to sit and die, the staff was lazy and seemed to not care about my well being. How is this place still open? Stay as far away from this place as possible.
The listing agent Christopher Bell shows very uncommon unprofessional behavior and arrogant attitude toward buyers. Christopher Bell refuses to provide any basic financial information (Cap Rate, NOI, rent roll) to the qualified buyer. He requested from the buyer to sign a confidentiality agreement. After the buyer sign the agreement, Chris Bell still refuses to provide any financial information without any reason. Moreover, Chris Bell starts behaving arrogantly in email response toward Buyer, accusing qualified Buyers/Investor in financial incompetency. The behavior of Christopher Bell is very unprofessional on the grounds of depriving the Seller a qualified buyer. This fact provides sufficient basis for estimating anticipated lost profit for Seller/Owner with reasonable certainty.Would not recommend Christopher Bell to friends and family under any circumstances.
Horrible landlord. He's a bully, evades any type o resposibility for poor conditions, and is very retaliatory. AVOID.
I have been renting with them for over a year now because the location and price of our rental. But the customer service is absolutely awful. The receptionist is always rude. If you call with any sort of question she automatically sounds annoyed and continues to makes you feel stupid through out the whole conversation. But don't try to talk with the owner, he is just as rude if not WORSE. Maintenence takes forever to get taken care of and the management try to be as hands off as they can making you contact their maint. People, and then those people don't show up half the time. Awful, when I move I will never rent from them again nor recommend them. STAY AWAY.
Customer service is terrible. The receptionists talk to you like you're an idiot for having questions.
This landlord is very hard to deal with because he does not want to spend money to fix what is broken. We have a very old water heater that keeps breaking and he has a "repairman" come out and "fix" it numerous times. He does wants to spend the least amount of money and wants the tenants to pick up a portion of what he should be spending himself!!!
I recently bought the home I could only dream about! Jim Grapes took his time and helped me with the entire buying process. He answered ALL my questions, and if he didn't know them, he found them for me. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone I know. His calm, professional, and knowledgeable demeanor would work well with even the hardest of individuals. He cares about what he is doing, and wants you to be happy every step along the way. Thanks JIM!!!!
