Purchased a Fridgedaire fridge from Sears. Had all kinds of problems with it the day after we had it delivered! 8 service calls later... it was deemed a "LEMON". We went and picked out a new fridge since they were NOT going to reimburse us our $$. We got a Kenmore Elite. 14 months later, it stops cooling. We called an appliance repair guy,he said it was the compressor!!! We had to pay HIM $85, then wait almost 2 wks for Sears to come out! Compressor was covered but....we had to pay for the labor. We lost a bunch of food, had to take time off work to wait for Sears guy....just another headache from SEARS. Wished we would have NEVER bought 5 appliances from them when we remodeled!!! What a mistake!!!!!! NEVER ....I say NEVER BUY from SEARS!!!!!!!
Bought my freezer about 15 years ago. Every year before I renew my extended warranty I request that Sears Maintenance do a yearly maintenance service. Last week was my year maintenance service. Sears technician does a good job and I haven't regretted my choice of staying with Sears for all my appliances.
We live in a rural area so it has been a long process beginning 2 months ago when our refrigerator quit working. At the first appointment which took several weeks to schedule, the tech was here all afternoon and very nice diagnosing the problem. We ordered over $500 of parts so had to wait again several weeks for the appointment to install them. After installing the parts last week, they assured me that the fridge was starting to cool. It never did and the next day the interior of the fridge and freezer was 70o.... same as the house! I have called customer service at least 3 times and have a case number. I asked that the technician call me back so I'd have an idea what he thought but that hasn't happened. It was an expensive unit purchased only 4 years ago! Anyway, after 2 months we are still using our spare fridge in the basement that is easily 25 years old!
I have bought all my major appliances from sears and always with a warranty and when things go wrong I am always completely satisfied. My last experience was very troubling. The repair technician would not listen to me about the problem with my washer and he told me my washer was perfect and that the problem was basically me not knowing how to wash laundry. My washer is still broken and I have another appointment scheduled for a different repair technician to come out. I do hope that the next appointment goes better.
I though the service was very good. He was able to diagnose the problem and fix it in no time at all.Of course it was expensive but he showed me what it would cost before the repair so no surprises. I loved being able to schedule the appt.online. I feel like Sears Appliance Repair will be our go to repair place when we can't do it ourselves.
Fantastic service! Was able to schedule online (very convenient) for next-day service. I was able to schedule for a 4-hour window, and the morning of service received confirmation of a more narrow 2- hour window via both email and text. Repair technicians were so friendly and helpful! My washer was back up and running quickly, with a Sears guarantee! The appliance store where I bought the machine was not able to come for 2+ weeks. I will definitely get my next appliances from Sears! Highly recommend.
The service man that you sent was awesome, but your service sucks. I would not have bought from Sears had I known there is no service person in my area and thus I was without my washer for a month. I will NEVER buy from sears again, let me say that one more time. Never buy from sears. This store front in Colville is useless they do not deliver for free and I live 7 miles from the store, delivery if they do it at all is $75.00 and when they set up my washer they did not check it and the filter was not placed properly and flooded the room. I call and got "oh I am so sorry" nothing more.
