Bought my freezer about 15 years ago. Every year before I renew my extended warranty I request that Sears Maintenance do a yearly maintenance service. Last week was my year maintenance service. Sears technician does a good job and I haven't regretted my choice of staying with Sears for all my appliances.
We live in a rural area so it has been a long process beginning 2 months ago when our refrigerator quit working. At the first appointment which took several weeks to schedule, the tech was here all afternoon and very nice diagnosing the problem. We ordered over $500 of parts so had to wait again several weeks for the appointment to install them. After installing the parts last week, they assured me that the fridge was starting to cool. It never did and the next day the interior of the fridge and freezer was 70o.... same as the house! I have called customer service at least 3 times and have a case number. I asked that the technician call me back so I'd have an idea what he thought but that hasn't happened. It was an expensive unit purchased only 4 years ago! Anyway, after 2 months we are still using our spare fridge in the basement that is easily 25 years old!
Took a long time to get an appointment; restriction to Thursdays only does not help.Repair part took almost a week to arrive. But the parts did install easily and the machine is working fine.
Great service. The repair tech was very professional and informative. The repair was done promptly and he gave me information on Sears warranty plans.
We live 8 miles NW of Deer Park and have appreciated having a local Sears. The repairman was on time and professional, showed me the piece of glasss that had clogged our dishwasher pump, and made sure it worked before he left. Excellent experience!

I have bought all my major appliances from sears and always with a warranty and when things go wrong I am always completely satisfied. My last experience was very troubling. The repair technician would not listen to me about the problem with my washer and he told me my washer was perfect and that the problem was basically me not knowing how to wash laundry. My washer is still broken and I have another appointment scheduled for a different repair technician to come out. I do hope that the next appointment goes better.
Repairman was professional and helpful and took time to explain exactly what he was doing and make recommendations for servicing our appliances to keep them running smoothly.
our service was great -------sooooo happy our t.v. doesn't have stars in it anymore !!!!!!!!!! Why do you need more words , isn't it enough that we were happy ?????????
I though the service was very good. He was able to diagnose the problem and fix it in no time at all.Of course it was expensive but he showed me what it would cost before the repair so no surprises. I loved being able to schedule the appt.online. I feel like Sears Appliance Repair will be our go to repair place when we can't do it ourselves.
