        I would never come back here--...

        I would never come back here--though to be fair, this incident happened many years ago. My beloved 11 yr old cat got liver disease--I tried everything to save him. The day came when it was clear he was extremely ill, would not recover, and needed to be put to sleep, so I made that dreaded trip to their clinic. They were just okay on the empathy. I sobbed when he died, and afterwards I couldn't bear to watch his body stiffen in death. They told me I could leave his body for 30 days. I called to pick him up 5 days before that date--and they had discarded his body!! Without calling me--nothing. NO apology, nothing. To this day I will always tell people not to go to Spokane Valley Animal Hospital. No way.
