Absolutely not. This place was dirty, the carpet was sticky, there was food splattered on the walls and the tables though wiped, were sticky and everything disorganized. The employees seemed skiddish and barely spoke english which raised some flags. Windows were all completely foggy and the food was luke-warm and the signs for what the food is were ineligible. The 'raw' fish looked dried out. I have eaten in 3 world countries many times in very bad looking places and still been able to eat the food, but I couldn't here. Went on a date (rare occasion) with my husband and felt like crying. Should have walked out the moment we saw the place.
When I got in there, a man greeted me and asked if I needed a seat. I told him I was there to pick up an order and he said someone would be up in a moment to help me. I was standing there for a few minutes before a woman came out and asked, quite rudely, if I was there to pick up an order. I was polite when I said yes but she didn't say anything, just walked away. I was standing up there for another minute or so when a man came in. The same woman was up there in a flash and as she took the man to a booth I heard her say "are you here to eat or see me". She didn't even acknowledge me, or give me an update on when my order would be ready. I stood there waiting and by this time it was after 11:20. I was thinking about just walking out since I could see her in the back, slowly walking around, talking to people. But as I was about to leave, I saw her coming up with my order. She didn't say anything as she approached, she simply threw my order into a bag and set it on the counter. Then she looked at me with a look that can only be described as downright angry and demanded to know how I would be paying for the order. I was still polite because I thought that would get her to be a little less curt with me but, unfortunately, she just seemed to get worse. She took my card and ran it through but wouldn't look at me or talk to me. She then gave me my card back with the receipt slips to sign but didn't have a pen. She looked for a couple seconds and then I said I had one in my purse. I signed the receipt and did not put a tip. I didn't feel one was deserved after the treatment. When she saw there wasn't a tip, she became even more coarse which I did not think was possible. She didn't say thank you when I handed her the receipt back, she didn't tell me to have a good day or come again. There was no politeness whatsoever and not one ounce of customer service was displayed. This is will be my one and ONLY trip to this restaurant.
We had the lobster buffet last night. Probably our 3rd visit there. Unfortunately, the food was not worth $11.99 per person. The hot food was cold and stale, cold food was warm. Mini - lobsters were gooey and impossible to extract the one bite of fish per lobster! The hot tea was cold and so weak we couldn't be sure it was even tea. Women's bathroom was disgusting! Light switch hanging from the wall. No hand towels. Filthy counter, floors and toilets, which I refused to use! Tried to politely tell the staff, and not one person there that I talked to spoke ENGLISH. We will not go back.
Food not fresh, some looked old; shabby, not too clean looking, over priced. We left wondering if we would be sick. Do not recommend this dive to anyone! Oh and food was tasteless!
