We bright in our 1995 F150 and was hoping to recover some of the paint luster and to clean it up. We were totally blown away when we picked it up! It looked like it just rolled out of the showroom! We never imagined the truck could ever look this good! They performed a miracle on it!! Nick Aspinwall was amazing, he helped us with finding a new radio and knew his stuff! He was very personable. His customer service was over the top! We will drive from Medical Lake to this valley CarToys for all our vehicle needs. It does not even look like the same truck!

Now I know why this company has a 93% Negative Rating on the BBB website!!! One star strikes me as rather generous for a company that not only has terrible customer service, but may actually try to harm dissatisfied customers. When I brought my car back to Car Toy's to have them remedy their botched job that left me with a malfunctioning climate control, the manager was a tad rude...nothing serious, just enough to aggravate an already tense discussion. I suppose I responded by being rude in return. Two hours later when i picked up my car, not only was my climate control system not working any better, but now there were numerous additional malfunctions....the most serious of these being my ECU computer under the dash. Without this computer, every single safety system in my expensive luxury car had been disabled! Was this just an unfortunate coincidence, or was this an attempt to harm a customer for having the audacity to stand up to a company that had botched a job they had been paid to do properly? My guess, and that of my attorney is for the latter explanation. This puts Car Toys in a new category of disreputable businesses. In discussing this matter with the regional manager, it appears that it is up to me to somehow magically prove beyond a shadow of doubt that this damage was due to their work for them to pay a legitimate dealership to clean up their disturbing mess. I guess I should just drive my family around in a car with all safety systems disabled by a disgruntled Car Toys employee until someone gets injured or killed for them to take notice. If this company takes such a stance with a case in which human life is at stake....what are the chances of them caring about the more mundane customer complaints about run of the mill defective stereo installations.

Car Toys was the most unhelpful business I've ever encountered. They ruined the light system in my brand new car when they installed a keyless entry system. Their system was wired to my lighting and shorted my tail lights. They refused to refund or reimburse my purchase when the dealership from which I purchased the car had to fully remove their system and replace the parts their work destroyed. It also cost me another $200 to have the dealership remove their faulty work.

I was attempting an amateur install of a new head unit and discovered my old stereo had a connection I didn't recognize and I could not find a harness that would fit it. Turned out it was a "bad one" that required some kind of computer bypass module to prevent the airbags from exploding, (you get the picture; mess with the computer and many bad things would happen). These guys treated me very kindly, obtained the needed components and completed the install with professionalism and a friendly, helpful attitude. The new stereo works great and I couldn't be happier.




It took a little bit of time, but it was so worth it. The guys bought me coffee while I waited and since it took a little longer than planned they installed a free trunk pop on my key fob. Will and Kristen kept me company while I waited. I am impressed! Thanks guys, keep up the good work.



Not So Impressed

Only a couple employees were helpful. The others were rude when I called ad talked to me like I was stupid. They told me It would be 5 hours and I had no ride so I stayed and waited. It took over two hours for them to even START working on it. Meanwhile I am waiting, and could've spent my time doing WAY better things. While waiting all I saw the "installers" doing is standing around talking and hardly working on cars. Ridiculous!



I will be the first to say tha...

I will be the first to say that Cartoys has a great price, does great work, and stands behind their work. They have the BEST phone prices guaranteed, and they know their stuff, if they don't know about the things you are asking about they refer you to someone who does (saving us time and money). I really like CARTOYS and what they have to offer!
