True Tone Painting

True Tone Painting recently completed painting my one-story home in NE Sun Valley. What an incredible job they did! From the first introduction and estimate to the clean-up and closing walk-through they were professional, paid close attention to detail, and were in personal contact with me throughout the job to make sure things were done to my satisfaction.

I was most impressed by the quality of the extensive prep work they did before painting. I had let my house go over 15 years before painting, and posts and trim were cracked and weathered. They replaced one of the trim boards that was completely warped, but the rest were scrapped, caulked, and sealed to the point where once the paint was applied, they looked like new.

To give you an idea of the small details, when they removed my house numbers, they carefully wrapped up even the screws for me. Another small detail: I had my door painted a deep red; the painter put three coats, stood back critically and said, "I think I'm going to do one more." You just don't expect that kind of careful detail work with a big company.

This is not a large business where the person who comes and gives you an estimate but then sends out one of their standard crews to work — this is a family-owned business, and they do the work themselves. In addition to their prices being significantly lower than their competitors, to my amazement, they completed the job in just 2 1/2 days! I feel like I have been given a new house. I give them my highest recommendation!

Michelle and John Parker did a fabulous job. They were very professional, timely, and made very good suggestions. I will hire them again to do my exterior paint.
