I attended this church twice now. the first time I was very put off due to the fact they were bragging in regards to a multi-million dollar church had just completed. I believe in Texas. Also, it appeared as if they worshipped the man who founded the church in 1914? Mr. Manalo and they believe his was a messenger sent by God.I though I would give it a second chance and attended on other time. The first 10-5 minutes of the service was spend literally putting down many other Christian based religions. Later in the service, the pastor made a comment that "they" meaning the members of that church are the only ones who have the right to ask Jesus for help. There are many other examples that made me feel very uncomfortable, but those were what stuck out to me.I'm not going bash the church, the people were very nice and friendly. And I'm sure many of them are true Christians as it not my place to judge. For me, I just didn't feel God speaking to me in that particular place of worship.
Great church :) Very welcoming and friendly :) Offers over 100 life groups across town, lots of local and global outreach and a great Celebrate Recovery Ministry on Friday nights! :)
This is a place where God moves in big ways.
