I went through the drive through yesterday and had the best customer service experience. They had run out of ground beef and the three young men working that day were going over and beyond to make things right for me and the other customers that evening. They gave a discount on our order, gave us something of our choice for free, and offered heart felt apologies for the inconvenience this had caused. I know fast food is fast food, but I had been to the local Wendy's east of town the week prior and had a true horrible experience where I was sworn at and felt so unappreciated. This experience with these young men made me feel like my business really did matter. For that I give them five stars and a thank you.
A horrible experience at the drive through. First they gave me back the wrong amount of change. I asked them to look at the receipt when they continued to have problems understanding how much to give back. They finally gave me the right change but then threw away the receipt. When I got my food and pulled away they swore at me. I pulled around front and talked to the manager who gave a feeble "sorry" and acted very irritated that he had to deal with me. The food was cold and really not worth the trouble I spent going there. The kicker with it all was that I was the only one at the drive through at the time and only one other customer inside ordering food. Way more employees than anyone buying anything. I called corporate but have not heard anything back. I will never go back. If you really want Wendy's food go to the one south of town at the Dug Out. I hear they do a lot better. If not go anywhere but here. This location needs to go.
