My child attended this school for a year. I was so glad to get her out of there. They DO NOT have a set learning schedule for the children. There are 5 classrooms there; when I withdrew my daughter only ONE of the original teachers remained. My daughter personally went through 3/4 teachers in the same class. They either wrongfully terminate teachers or the teachers leave because of ill treatment. When my daughter first started they said the canopy over the playground had been destroyed by a recent hurricane; a year later there was still no canopy over the playground and the children were outside daily in 95 degree heat index. My daughter would come home with ripped clothes and was even forced to pee her pants one day because there weren't enough teachers there for one to accompany her to the bathroom. Since moving my daughter she has learned so much, something I notice did not happen at GLC. The most they would do was color all day; they didn't even have a set schedule for the children to learn something as basic as the alphabet..

Very disappointed with their expertise. The experience is not as they promised on the orientation tour.
Terrible experience everything that the lady on the bottom said they try to act strict although they treat kids like dogs.
My son has been going to GLC for a little over a year now and I couldn't be more happier with my decision. The teachers here are awesome and have helped me and my son in so many ways. They have a set schedule for the kids and a good curriculum as well as a balanced discipline structure. Having a child in day care can be hard for some parents as well as the child; but at GLC they open their arms to everyone and love these children as their own. I recommend this daycare to anyone in the area because it was the best one I've can across!!!
I'm so surprised to hear a negative comment. It is just the opposite of how I feel. My child has attended this school for over a year. The management is so caring, and understands are unique needs. We are from Brazil, and they have taught my child so much! All of the staff have made us feel welcome, and has made our child feel comfortable, which was a complete transformation when we first arrived here.
Beware of this childcare. Anything but genuinely loving. Starting from the teachers, director and all the way to the owners. There is no passion whatsoever for the children receiving care. There's absolutely no emphathy. Children do not have a good academic schedule and teachers are constantly leaving.
DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT PUT YOUR KID IN THIS DAYCARE ! My child was in this daycare for 2 yrs for convenience but meanwhile I've had soo many issues with the care and concerns of my child . Teachers are NOT allowed to talk to you for too long , any concerns are swept under the rug , Maria (director) is very condescending , very nice nasty , some teachers are miserable because they treat them like slaves , some are nice don't get me wrong but are treated poorly and that affects the work ethic ,they don't help two yr old wipe when they are learning to use the potty so be prepared to have a kid with a rash, or dirty underwears , they NEVER know how you kids day went because the teacher doesn't report to anyone about anything only when the child acts out , if you complain more than once be prepared to slowly get thrown out , to further explain they will provoke your child and then blame it on them , I've had a teacher say she rather walk dogs than do this , my child has had a gash in her head and NOONE could tell me what happened and no report was made ,my daughter was at a stage where she would tell me what was going on so I'd hear the teacher curse , throw her food away when she wasn't done and eat her lollipop she was given in front of her. THEY ARE PETTY !!!!! so I warn you to be careful I will report them to DCF and any other accreditation they shouldn't be open , any questions i will gladly respond
I absolutely LOVE Aunt Delores Child Care!!! I have a son in VPK and a son that just turned 1 and both of them have been attending Aunt Delores since they were a few months old. Both of my children have learned so many different things and are ahead academically of where they should be because of the Teachers at Aunt Delores!! My oldest son is more than ready for Kindergarten and the school year isn't even over. I drive 30 minutes out of my way every day to ensure my kids go to Aunt Delores every day!! All of the teachers really care for all of the children and it makes it feel like it is a home away from home!! I am truly blessed and grateful for Aunt Delores and the entire staff!!
My Son has been going to Aunt Delores for almost 3 years. He has learned and done more than I would ever be able to do as a stay at home Mom. He is so loved, and all the girls are so wonderful. He loves going to school everyday, and I have piece of mind everyday knowing he is in good hands.
The First Day I brought My 3 yr old son to Aunt Delores Childcare I was Extremely Nervous because it is my sons first time away from me and in the care of someone else other than family. All the Teachers at the daycare definitely welcomed my son with open arms and helped reassure me that he was safe and enjoying learning with his teachers and friends by sending me pictures and phone calls letting me know how his day was going. If I have any questions or concerns they are always so helpful and understanding.
