Rude waitress, i ordered spagetti plate and pizza, $13 meal, and when I asked for a bread basket she said BREAD BASKET DOESNT COME WITH YOUR MEAL.

Don't bother with this crap hole. Overpriced, and rude as hell.
This place is a crap hole. I am being generous by giving them a one star.
I was seated (only one in the entire place pretty much). Hated my seat and asked to be moved. They refused to move me because it was not convenient for them. Are you serious?
They do not understand the meaning of service. They would not know it if it hit them with a giant 2x4.
Service was extremely slow and the food was way over cooked. I can make better Italian food and I am Mexican.
I would have rather eaten at KFC or Taco Bell, so not worth it.
One star is too much. Service was exceptionally slow, after a 45 minute wait the pizza was overcooked and practically tasteless. Worst Pizza I've ever had.. and I love pizza always have, but not from hear. They have a good reputation but they definitely dont live up to it. Also CASH ONLY.. I ate less then a whole slice, very disappointed. Prices are ok but for less you can get a better pizza at little caesars or jets. :-(
I ordered 2 baked spagetti dinners when i got there, only 1 was ready. Had to wait 30 minutes for the 2nd one. Once I got home with the food, there was hardly any sauce on it. Called and complained, was told i would be put in the book for 2 free dinners. Called a couple weeks later, the waitress put me in the book for 1 dinner. Asked for a manager, the manager was very rude and argued with me on the phone! then the manager removed my order from the book. Everyone there was very rude. When I never ordered it. Used to come here all the time, never had bad service till now.
Just got back from the first, and last, visit to Romas Pizzeria in Southgate, MI. Three of us, 1 drink wrong, another brought late. Ordered two pizzas, 1 okay. The second was supposed to be a square half & half . One half was okay but the other had the wrong ingredients. Reordered and waited another 35 minutes and it still came out round. A good restaurant would have comped something. Not this place. Went to pay and the cashier had an attitude. Gave it one star out of pity.
I've grown up with this place being from the downriver area my family and I would eat here often and the service was always great and we'd never had a problem before.
Fast forward to today, I'm an adult now and I wanted to show my Future Husband what a great place this was. I moved over 2000 miles away and was coming back for a visit to see some family and eat some of the food I'd been missing. I'd spent so long on the flight over telling my fiance how awesome the food was here, especially the salads.
When we finally get to Romas and have a seat I'm expecting everything to go perfectly. Little did I know that they are under new management that's somehow screwed everything sideways. I'm not sure why people still eat here and my only conclusion is they must not know. Their $10 dinner salads that used to feed 4-5 people now barely feed 2. Though they've become less stingy with their dressing which I suppose is a plus, the only plus.
Shrugging this off as a change in the economy, we proceeded to order a pizza and a pitcher of beer to go with dinner. When they finally brought our beer it was FLAT, as in... flavored beer-water flat.
We sent it back and just ordered some water, trying not to let it ruin the meal. After getting full of pizza and salad and packing up our leftovers, we headed up to check out.
Only to find that they STILL charged us for the pitcher of beer. After asking the lady at the register she only said that the beer wasn't flat and we'd still have to pay for it. This was AFTER they had taken the pitcher back with NO INDICATION that we would still have to pay for it. I told her that I thought it was bad customer service to take the pitcher back without letting us know that we would still be charged, and that we would have kept it otherwise.
Her response was "I can't comp it because there are cameras watching us". She also did not have a name tag on and refused to tell me her name or give me her managers contact information.
This place has gone WAY down hill and all of the good reviews on here must be from a better time because Roma's is definitely not even close to a 4 star place anymore.
