This place needs cleaning up. I live two mile and I go out of my way to another Meijer that is 8 miles away. I took a chance today and did some shopping there today. I needed cheese from the deli, but changed my mind after looking at the slicer while waiting to be waited on. Both the meat and cheese slicers were in need of cleaning. The salads in the deli case look a little old and sparse. The green beans were on sale, but the ones they had were turning brown. I ask the manager if they had any that were fresher, she was kind enough to get a new batch, but they were only slightly better than the ones they had out. The asparagus were starting to dry because they did not have any water in the bend that held them. My husband stopped here last week at 4pm to pick up ground beef that was on sale and the shelf was empty. This is prime time when people are getting off work, why was the shelf empty???
They need to bring in new management to tighten this store up, it could be so much better than it is. I won't be back any time soon. I would love to spend my money in my community, but until they make changes for the better, I will go someplace else to do my shopping.

Go to a different Meijer store

The staff at this Meijer store are unprofessional and obnoxious.

One day I saw juice that required refrigeration stocked on a shelf non-refridgerated. I advised the customer service employee. I later saw another employee moving the hot unrefridgerated juice to the refridgerated section. That juice should of been disposed of.

Now I know why I became ill after eating meat purchased from this Meijer store.

Another day the cashier incorrectly rang up merchandise and when I pointed it out she went all getto on me. After a few minutes of abuse, I walked out of the store. The cashier yelled out obscenities at me.

Go to the Meijer in Troy on Coolidge it is an excellent store and has wonderful employees.
