I ordered a pair of sunglasses from here and explained the owner that I was leaving the country in 2 days. He said it wouldn't be a problem and it would be ready the next day. I came 2 days later, the morning of my flight. When I got there they told me it wasn't ready since there was a backorder on my prescription, whatever that means... They never called me to notify me of the delay even though they knew I was travelling that week.When I got there it took about 10 minutes to figure out that they didn't have the sunglasses ready. They didn't apologize, but did offer to fill the sunglasses with a prescription that was one full point lower than what I need in the right eye. I didn't have much choice since I really needed them for the trip so I agreed. I notified them that my cab to the airport was waiting outside and they assured me it would only take 5 minutes to cut the lenses. After 15 minutes I asked about how much longer it would take, since I didn't want to miss my flight. The lady behind the counter responded, "I already told you, five minutes." When I told her it was already 15 minutes and I needed to know how much longer it would realistically take, so I wouldn't miss my flight, she responded, "well, you shouldn't have waited until the last second." No apologies. No polite answers to the very normal and civil questions I was asking. After another 5 minutes, I started walking out. They finally brought me the glasses. Instead of apologizing for the delay for holding me up and having the wrong prescription, the lady had the nerve to ask "why are you so rude?" I've always noticed how the older black lady who works there seems to dislike white people, and is always curt with them, but I had never encountered such lack of professionalism, even from her. All in all, it was an AWFUL EXPERIENCE! It's really a shame since the owner is such a nice guy, but with employees like that, and him not being around all the time, I wouldn't suggest going there.
The Customer Service is OUTSTANDING. First visit with my daughter who has been going to this business for years. I was pleasantly surprise to have a one on one with so many customers after 4:00pm. GREAT JOB!!!! Keep up the OUTSTANDING WORK in making sure that each customer is provided with A1 service.VERY PLEASED CUSTOMER
I have been a customer of B&W Look since 1998. The reason I keep going back to them is due to the great customer service I have receive and also they have very reasonable prices on there glasses.
Dr. Lindahl is very knowledgable and took time to examine both me and my mother without feeling rushed or like a number. He also was very patient in answering all of our MANY questions. We have found our forever optometrist!
