This review is about the online appointments they offer through this site, not their ability to do hair, which I was never given the chance to find out.I made an online appointment 2 days before the requested appointment. I had to leave an email and phone number. I finally got an “appointment denied” message about 1.5 hours before the appointment time I had requested. No one called to offer an alternative or anything. I thought this was odd since their official website said they accept walk ins. If you don’t do online appointments, then you may want to delete this option on yellowpages.com. I had also read an old (2011) review on Yelp that said they always seemed confused on the phone about making appointments. It seems appointment scheduling has been an issue for years.

Very professional and not trying to make you pay and arm and a leg for hair extensions. Affordable amazing quality
I recently have visited Hairshion for a hair appointment. I had very little wait time and my stylist, Rodney, was prompt in welcoming and getting to know me and what I would like done with my hair. The atmosphere, though simple, was perfect for a salon. In addition, their prices are very reasonable for the services they provide for the customer. I also felt very comfortable with him doing my hair as he reassured me that he has been doing hair for over 30 years. I could see that every other customer was content and happy when I was there while they were getting their hair done. I will definitely be going back to Hairshion often.

First and last time eating here. I ordered a perch dinner And my husband ordered a catfish dinner. While we patiently waited for the food to cook, both girls were on their phones. The cook put the fish in the fryer and over cooked them both. (Sitting on the sink on her phone) The girl at the register was so busy in her own world that once the food was done, they bagged it and handed it to us. WE HADN'T PAID FOR IT!!! I had to tell her it wasn't paid for. She had an attitude from the time we walked in and walked out. No customer service etiquettes at all. Never again!!! The macaroni has no seasoning in it and the cornbread is dry and nasty. The rating scale should have a negative zero on here.
I was at the Southfield location with a few people and the worker took care the person that I was with and the other worker asked if we were together and I said yes but can you help me. She said "no we don't work that way". Really? If I had 8 people in my party will you only let one person help me. Also, the clerk was on the cell phone. Terrible service and very lazy...you can imagine how the food is prepared! Only at a black owned business!
Rodney did my hair. I have received so many compliment all I had to do was to showhim a picture and my hair was cut and styled exactly like the picture. Prices are perfect for us working class people.l will never trust anyone else to give me the style or cut I want......
When I walked in on Sunday I was impressed by the decor and cleanliness. I very clearly stated I just wanted my daughter to get a wash, deep conditioner and blow dry and that was it. A price list was at the counter and the cheapest listed price was Dominican roller set for $35. I assumed that just a wash and blow would be at most $35 but should be cheaper. The shampoo person was okay but not as good as the shampooers I have gone to in real Dominican salons. The blow out was not at all a Dominican round brush blow out. She did get it somewhat straight but not as straight as it should have been. She added no oil so the ends were very dry. Then I went to pay and was charged $45.00 for a 5 year old, just getting washed and blow dried! I was told the price was the same no matter if I opted out of the flat iron and curl! She lost a customer, I was happy to have a salon close by home that was open on Sunday but I will not save at the price on gas. I can just make my way back to Harlet's a real dominican salon. The quality of the end product and cost are so much better at Harlets! I would have only paid $15-$20 at Harlets. She lost two potential weekly regulars
I went to the Southfield location as a walk in and was a bit skeptical. My fears were quickly put to rest by the ladies in the salon. Great service, customer service and very clean environment. The shop prices are on the high end but the service is well worth it. The recommendation I would majes is to schedule a appointment for faster service. I would definitely go back soon.
I have gone to this location for approx 6 months. The ladies are always friendly and helpful. Although I feel the price is at a premium the environment and friendly service is well worth it. I purchased very cheap hair (on a budget) and it stayed in! I maintained the hair for more than 6 weeks. Thank you ladies - GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
