Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy is the use of subzero temperature to destroy abnormal tissue. The dead tissue is then sloughed or reabsorbed by the body.
Many times, a urinary tract infection may cause all of the symptoms of an overactive bladder. However, blood in the urine, whether visible or microscopically detected, needs evaluation. Though the underlying cause of OAB is unknown, the nervous system is thought to play an important role in the irritability and overactivity of the bladder. Processes such as diabetes, Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis, which affect the nervous system, can initially present with urinary complaints.
A urodynamic test measures the bladder’s ability to store and empty urine. Urodynamics attempts to recreate what happens when your bladder fills normally. Quite a bit of information is collected, and the study will assist a doctor in deciding how they wish to treat a patient’s problem. Urodynamics is the urologist’s best way to determine the function of a patient’s bladder. Other tests, such as cystoscopy or CT scan, can be used to assess the anatomy of the bladder.
Kidney cancer (also called renal cell carcinoma or renal adenocarcinoma) is a disease in which cancer cells develop in the very small tubes of the kidney. In normal anatomy, there are two kidneys, one on each side of the backbone, above the waist.
