.I was a customer here for many years. Had direct deposit. Got along well with the tellers. .Then came a day that I needed to do a rather large cash advance on my credit card. They ran my card through their simple simon card swipe reader, and it was refused. Not a big surprise. .So I called the credit card company customer service, and was instructed to have the Trustmark bank teller call them by phone to verify it was really me with my credit card, standing in the bank requesting the cash. Not unreasonable; they didn’t want to approve giving cash to a stranger who might have stolen my card..When I explained this to the Trustmark teller, she replied “We don’t do that.” Bank policy. She would try the simple simon card swipe reader, but she would not make a call to my credit card company on my behalf..They lost me as a customer that day.
I have had absolute horrible experience with this bank. After submitting documents for my account, for the third time I am now having to call them to have my account updated because it still has not been done. Of course I have not been able to do this since I have been calling nonstop for over 2 straight hours and they have yet to answer a single phone call.
I wish I could select zero with no stars! Upon attempting to open an account and being approved and told it will take seven days, my form was conveniently forgotten about and I was told later on this is a pattern at that location for African Americans who want to open an account. Taking my money elsewhere!!
