This place cupcakes lacks consistent taste and moisture. The cupcakes were over baked and dry!Also once you eat the top of the cupcake the rest of it has no flavor. The prices are little expensive compared to the quality of the cupcake.

I need to thank A. C. for her review. I need a cake for my son's 9th birthday and because of this review I now know to steer clear of this company. I support small businesses as best I can, but unfortunately a lot of these companies lack the proper customer service needed to retain customers. Silly rabbit, the customer is always right!! You cannot blame a child that was acting on behalf of your company. That means that either you failed to properly train her on prices or that she should not be allowed to quote prices/refer to someone that can give a proper quote. SMH!!!!
No StarsNot So Fancy Cakes Fancy Prices(Low End Customer Service-High End Prices)Beware!!!If they quote you a price they are not finished charging you yet. I ordered 48 cake pops from this company. I was quoted a price of $25 and had someone pay for the cake pops the same day. The individual that paid for the cake pops was given the same price I was given over the phone. Two days later, I receive a call from a store employee stating I was quoted the wrong price by the owner's daughter and that they could give me the cake balls at that price instead of the pops. She said it would be $2.25 per cake pop. That is a big jump from what I was told 2 days earlier. It sounded to me like someone was trying to make extra money off of this order.I said that I was not going to pay extra because that was not the price I was given. Businesses should always honor the quoted price. She said the owner was not willing to take a loss and would not do the pops at the quoted price.I asked to speak to the owner because I did not appreciate her passing messages through her employees. If she wanted to change the price, she should have called me herself. The store employee stated that the owner was at work and there was nothing she could do. At this point, I stated I would call back. I needed to calm down because this was an ignorant person I was dealing with on the phone. I called back 10 minutes later to cancel the order because at this point I wanted my money back. I let the employee know that my mom was coming to get the refund. Also, I let her know again how dissatisfied I was with her service. She stated, it was not the owner's fault but her daughter's fault. Seriously, are you really going to blame a teenager for the owner's ignorance when it comes to handling business? The owner is not business savvy at all. They were not very apologetic, plus I was not offered anything for the inconvenience. I teach customer service classes in the community. It may not hurt for her and the employees to attend a few sessions. I would not refer my worst enemy to this place. No one deserves to be treated in this manner. The sad part is I am affiliated with several organizations and local leaders who may have benefited from her services. Do you think I am sending anyone her way now. NO!!! So, stay away from J's Not So Fancy Cakes unless you want Fancy Prices.
