Jeffrey S. Epstein, M.D., F.A.C.S. - Foundation for Hair Restoration

I had a facial hair transplant and then came back for a chin implant with Dr. Epstein. Basically I'd say that Dr. E. is great and if I could go back and do it all over again I'd definitely go to him. I always felt confident in his abilities and in his staff too. The office is clean and being in Miami, it's a nice place to visit. The price is a bit steep, but I'd rather pay more for something and get it done right first time. I would advise other people to not be put off by it. Basically, I'm glad I went to Dr. E. I have no regrets and am happy with the results.

I had a hair transplant about a year ago with Dr. Epstein after he was recognized as one of the top surgeons for hair transplant in the area. He was very friendly and congenial. He just explained the procedure and didn't put on high pressure. I'm very happy with the results I've gotten. I was pretty much bald and now my own hair grows on top of my head. There is relatively little downtime and the recovery wasn't too bad. The procedure is outpatient, which is no problem. You just come back the next day and they take a look at your scalp and clean up some of the minor bleeding and so forth. After that nature takes its course and you only have to have the stitches removed a couple of weeks later. There's really not much involved beyond the actual procedure. I was surprised that he wasn't the one who did the actual removing and transplanting of hair into your scalp. He has other people do that, but he does map out exactly how he wants it done with some type of crayon on your scalp. He also monitors and oversees every step along the whole process. I'm sure the people he has doing it are highly trained and they're very skilled. I mean the end product came out great. I'm satisfied and I think he and his team did a nice job.

I had HAIR GRAFTS done twice with Dr. Epstein. The first time was 4 years ago and then I had a touch up 2 years ago. Dr. Epstein came highly recommended from another medical professional and I went with him because, first of all, the professionalism and, secondly, the friendly help and support. It’s really a no muss-no fuss procedure except for one important thing: on that first day when you walk out, take the pain medicine, don’t wait. I didn’t cleary understand it because I thought I was still protected by the numbness of my scalp and I didn’t need anything. But the instant you get home, you want to take the pain meds. It was between 6 and 9 months when I was beginning to see new hairs coming out so it’s a gradual thing. And now it’s really not noticeable to anyone but me because I wear bangs and a pageboy. I’m still a patient here 4 years later, doing the LASER LIGHT THERAPY as well, and I’m actually talking with his partner Dr. Barrett about some PEEL TREATMENT.

I don't have any complaints about the hair transplant procedure with Dr. Epstein. It's only been a week and I can see a little bit of a difference. Dr. Epstein explains everything that's going to happen and how it’s going to look. He is excellent. For me, he's one of the best in the field.

I chose Dr. Epstein to perform my Hair Restoration procedure because he was highly recommended through another individual who had done it. When I went in and had my initial consultation with him, he seemed very genuine and honest about the expectations. I felt very comfortable with the way that he explained the procedure. And also, it didn’t appear to me that he was just trying to sell me a product; it seemed like he was trying to convey a realistic expectation. I would highly recommend Dr. Epstein to anyone. He’s a phenomenal doctor, and I was very, very comfortable with the way he treated me.

Back in January of 2012, I had what is called a USC. Other people refer to the procedure as a Hair Transplant. Dr. Epstein specializes in Hair Transplants and has a lot of years of experience. Before I chose him as my surgeon I did a lot of research on him and other surgeons. I looked up different doctors’ experience, what they specialize in and the feedback. I even interviewed other doctors for the procedure, but I felt like Dr. Epstein was a better choice. He got great ratings and people’s reviews of him were always positive. During my initial meeting, I spoke more with the representative and then after Dr. Epstein came in and talked to me. Everything was explained well and I felt comfortable with him. So far I am really, really happy with the results. I don’t think the results are yet complete, but I have seen pretty good results so far. It's already been 4-5 months. My hair is definitely natural-looking. I will let others know to come see Dr. Epstein because of his expertise. He has been working in his field for a while and he is also a professor. He made me, the client, feel comfortable. I am really happy with the results and how the process works. And the staff there is amazing.
