Organic Vegetarian Delight

Sprouts was the highlight of my whole South Tahoe trip. The food was fresh, crisp, and the recipes delicious. They have a fresh cream cheese and a balsamic vinaigrette that are truly magnificent. I had a sandwich on whole wheat bread with fluffy cream cheese, fresh sliced tomatoes, crispy cucumber, alfalfa sprouts and balsamic vinaigrette, and it was something to write home about. I begged my wife to go back before we left Tahoe so I could get two more sandwiches. Their all-fruit smoothies are something special also. They're thick, sweet, fruity, and refreshing. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. They only take cash though, so be sure to bring dollars instead of plastic for the best organic vegetarian food anywhere.
