If you love your furniture then call Steve at AAA Furniture Repair. I was a little apprehensive about the name thinking that the AAA was a gimmick but I took a chance with the free estimate. I left a message and was called back that evening for a possible appointment the next morning. Steve should up promptly and impressed me with his knowledge of furniture as he assessed the damage to my chaise. I truly did not want to put my furniture out for bulk day and did not see anything affordable to replace it. I paid good for my chaise, I had it a long time and loved it. While hanging Christmas decorations in the living room my son step up on it and we heard the crack. He tried to repair it but it just did not feel the same. Steve said he could repair it right where it was - now it was in my bedroom. I had moved and could not bear to throw or give it away. In two hours he was done and I am so happy. A replacement would have cost me at least $500 on sale and still not the same quality of furniture. My chaise is very heavy and Steve handled it like the pro he is. Not only is he professional he has a wonderful personality. You cannot go wrong using this company to repair your treasured piece. I expect to get more years out of my original investment and there will be no more standing on my chaise.

My wife and I recently had some work done on our living room black leather sofa and chair. Steven came to our townhouse and I explained the various problems that we were having with the furniture, and what needed to be repaired He listened carefully and professionally answered any and all of my questions. He then explained what needed to be done and gave me an estimate. We agreed to proceed with the work. Steven really understands the furniture repair business, and was diligent in his work. He explained things to me along the way, and the entire job was done within two hours. He is also very friendly to deal with. I would highly recommend Steven and AAA Furniture Repair to anyone considering such a service. The company gets my very highest rating.
I have an expensive over-sized Lazy-Boy rocker recliner that needed the wood that allows the chair to rock replaced. Steve told me he could do the repair but he would have to mold a new wood piece to accomplish the repair. Steve told me he would use a superior wood to the original and that he would bolt it down for additional support. I believe the repair he did makes the chair more durable than the original construction. In addition he tightened; adjusted and added missing screws where needed throughout the bottom of the chair. Steve was knowledgeable, reliable and professional. I would highly recommend him to do your furniture repair.
I have two end tables that I purchased online that were damaged during delivery from the seller. Several legs had buckled and the frames had twisted. Steven did an excellent job of repairing them. You can't tell that the tables were ever damaged. He did the job quickly and had the tables back to me promptly. No surprise from a man that has a long career in furniture repair and does a very professional job. Plus he's a very personable guy and is easy to deal with. I would definitely call on him again for any future repairs I might need.
The repairs on the small furniture I had fixed (an antique table, etc.) were so good, I couldn't even tell where the problems had been! And, AAA Furniture Repair worked in my house to repair a desk that was too large to move. Steve figured out what would be the best way to effect the repairs, and carried them out. (I didn't even have to unplug my computer -- he worked around it.) Am I pleased? You bet I am. And, I would recommend AAA Furniture Repair to anyone. Steve is not a repairman, but a true craftsman.
It's always a pleasure when you can deal with someone that knows what they're doing and does it in a timely and professional manner. Steve from AAA fits that description. Everything from my initial phone contact for an appointment thru Steve's on-time pre-arrival phone call to the actual repair of my recliner at my residence was strictly first rate. I don't normally leave reviews but this repair job and transaction went so smooth that I felt compelled to tell others about it. I highly recommend this company!
I have an expensive sofa bed that had been damaged during two moves. The damage assessor sent by the moving company told me that it couldn’t be fixed. I called AAA Furniture Repair Service and they made a timely appointment and showed up on time, calling to let me know the ETA. Steven did a great job assessing the problem, explaining what had to be done, and executing quickly. I will definitely call them again if I need any furniture repairs.
I had a trio of coffee tables, one of which was water stained, and built-in office cabinets that had been chewed up by chairs scraping the wood. Steve did an amazing job on everything. The pieces are shiny and the damage is unnoticeable. He is very personable and reliable. Confirms his appointments and arrives when he says he will. He obviously cares to do his best work. Highly recommended. Worth the price. We are very happy.
I selected AAA Furniture Repair back in November 2012 because their ad mentioned that they fix recliners. Our leather sofa has two built-in recliners, and we were concerned that we wouldn't find anyone capable of fixing it. Well, Steve certainly knew what he was doing. He's professional, pleasant, and did what he said he could. We are very pleased with his work and will definitely use him again when we need repairs.
Steve has repaired several early 20th century antiques for me; a wash stand, Butler's tray table, chairs, tilt tables, and a sewing machine cabinet are some of the pieces he has made useable again. He has an innate ability to look at a piece from various angles and come up with the perfect solution for restoration. He is reliable and trustworthy, a real gem!
