As I was out of state when I had water damage to my home. II found TomKataz online, and my brother met with them and supervised the work for me. My brother was amazed at the quality of work and the attention to detail. They are a five-star operation and do five-star work. Mike helped me out in my time of need. I'm a disabled engineer however my degree was in Life/Safety as a Fire Alarm Engineer. Now if you need advice on your fire alarm, I will do what I can to provide very good advice. I came to know Mike as he arrived at my place after someone else had tried and tried to fix a leak over my bedroom and gave up. Mike responded quickly as I was unable to climb a ladder, yet alone know anything about roofing. When he arrived he sprang into action as storms were approaching and found several spots, the others were blind to! I can on summarize his visit, as one man helping out another in his time of need and boy, did I need Mike that day. I was scared to sleep in my own place after losing everything I owned in a house fire on 9/11/17 the day after IRMA passed. The fire was accidentally started by my roommate and cost me everything I owned, including my new car. The fire alarm system was almost finished and would have given proper notification to save more than what I was sleeping in, I'm just happy to be alive and have a friend in Mike that I would recommend personally and professionally to anyone that needs their roof fixed. I sit now ready for the rainy season knowing that Mike has fixed a major problem in minutes. His advise is invaluable, so if you ask for it he will be a straight shooter and listen to him he knows what he is doing, as I know my trade! I'm a better man to have had the opportunity to meet Mike and will go to him exclusively for any future issues with my roof! I can sleep rest assured that I am now safe now, without the worry of another fire, because of his actions, efforts and willingness to come to my aid when no one else would! Thank you Mike!

I have a hard time trusting people coming into my home. Everyone I have used before seemed to take their time and the work was sub par at best. Not even a year later, I would have to call someone else to repair what the previous company had done.

So I was leary to call someone else, but Mike was extremely professional and did the job in less time than expected. He re-tiled my bathroom and it looks wonderful. Now I can relax cause I know that if I need anything done, Mike is the one to call.

In the end of May, 2017 my neighbor called to let me know that my roof-over had blown off. I live in Rhode Island and my mobile home is in Port Orange, FL. Of course I panicked not really knowing who to turn to for help. Called my insurance company, they inspected and gave me the results. Now to find someone you can trust to do the repairs was the next issue. I called TOMKATZ and spoke with Mike Thomas. I told him exactly what I need. He took time out of his busy work day to go and inspect my damage. The next day he called back with an estimate(very agreeable I might add). I had called other businesses and received no return calls. We drew up an agreement and Mike took on the job. We flew down in July to meet with Mike. He is a very likable, professional businessman. He had a few hurdles to go through because Port Orange was dragging on the permits which I fully understood why my roof-over was on hold. The minute he obtained them the job was begun and completed in a day an a half. He notified me the minute the job was complete so I wouldn't worry any longer. I sent him the balance owed sight unseen, I trusted his work ethics. I had to obtain new insurance because of my claim. The new rules are you need a 4-point inspection which brought on more complications. I called Mike and he responded so quickly to my distress. He completed all that needed to be done with expertise. My husband and I are proud to call him our friend. I can't thank him enough for all the help he gave us. Our roof- over is beautiful, his work is beyond words. If I could give him 10 stars I would. I will definitely give Mike a call the minute I am in town to do more work for us.

Mike is very friendly and goes out of his way to please the customer. He is certainly reasonable on the installation price. He excels in professionalism and takes pride in doing excellent work. He is completely trustworthy, hard working and accomplishes the task at hand in a timely fashion. The crew even cleans up afterward. I've already recommended him to a neighbor that needed a small job done and I will be calling him again for additional repairs in the future.

The crew at Tomkatz did an exceptional job with my project!!. As an engineer myself, I have seen lots of contractors work and his is second to none. Tomkatz have an acute attention to detail and got the job done in a timely and efficient manner. We were trying to fit a square peg in a round hole, and with Mike's skill of craftsmanship and code knowledge he realized what was a very difficult task under a lot of pressure. His ability to think on his feet and creative problem solving is better than advertised. Tomkatz was hired to replace an exterior wall that had been damaged by termites. The job was completed far more quickly than I ever imagined, and to a very high standard. The staff were skilled, friendly, and courteous. They were each happy to go the extra mile. They even did a last-minute paint job that hadn't been in the work order. And no mess!
We were amazed by their skill and professionalism, and delighted with the end result. We would definitely hire this contractor again, and highly recommend!

We recently purchased a home in Ormond Beach; and knew that there was major water damage that needed to be repaired before we could began to remodel. Being new to the area, we did some research on mobile home repair company's and contacted Tomkatz. Mike came out and spent a considerable amount of time inspecting the home. He was able to find the root cause of the problem, which had occurred over a number of years. He gave us his best estimate of what would be required to permanently repair the damage, most of which was hidden. Mike and his crew know how to repair manufactured homes. What a great bunch of guys.We met Mike a while ago and I never met a nicer persn. What ever he does it's perfection.If he charged me for everything I would owe him a lot more.We just love the whole crew.They are always polite and work very hard.We never get over charged!!

I have had trouble in the past with repairmen or companies not even answering the phone. I don't like leaving messages on answering machines. i called he answered the phone. The project that I started was a little over my head. Tomkatz came out in a timely manner, was extremely friendly and listend to me. gave me really good advice on how to finish my project the rght way. i asked them how much to finish the job, I was very happy with price to finish my job! Tomkatz compared to other companies I called were less expensive.
