I have used this practice since 2015. To be fair, Dr. Kristina Offerle is a thorough optometrist, and the first prescription she wrote for me is very good. The optometrists are another story. The second prescription was for an "office lens" for close reading and computer work, two heavily used skills in my job. When the glasses arrived, they were exactly like my other pair. I explained this to the optician, and she ARGUED with me that the glasses were fine. It took multiple complaints to get someone to examine the "office lens" glasses and realize that they had been ordered with my regular prescription instead of the adapted one. They were finally remade but are still incorrect. They are supposed to relieve eye strain and they don't. This was an expensive mistake. I paid for the optician's mistake out of my pocket. Then, they offered a deal. I ordered two more pairs with my prescription to use my FLEX balance. The cost to me was a little over $1,300. The glasses took THREE MONTHS to arrive. I received calls explaining the delay, but never an apology. WHen they finally came, I discovered that I could not see! I explained that to the optician who ARGUED with me that I just needed to raise or lower my head to get used to the prescription. He NEVER examined the fit of the glasses nor checked my vision! One pair was so bad, it looked like I was looking through a coke bottle. I slipped on the other pair while driving home and realized I could not read road signs nor see the traffic lights or lines in the road. I called and spoke to the office manager, RYAN. He would not even pass my information along to the doctor. He offered no guarantee that the practice would do anything at all to make the situation right or compensate me for the $1,300 I had spent (preferably with working glasses that I could actually wear). This is completely unacceptable, which is why I plan to take my complaints outside of this practice. Save your money, people.
They charged me more than I was responsible for, according to my vision insurance, and will not refund my overpayment. When I called, they said a supervisor would call me. They never did. When I called back, numerous times the same day, all calls went to voicemail. I have yet to receive a call back or refund.
VSP members beware....they will not allow us to use our benefits for both daily wear and safety glasses. They are screwing us out of benefits we are entitled to. Go somewhere that will treat you right.
