Richard Behymer, MD, is a family practice physician, providing care to patients of all ages. Following medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, he completed a two-year residency in psychiatry and three-year residency in family practice in Wheeling, West Virginia. He has additional training in natural medicine and hypnosis. Dr. Behymer has been practicing medicine for 37 years. He was in private practice for many years, initially focusing on obstetrics. He then moved to Twain Harte Family Medical Center, where his practice focused mainly on adults in all aspects of primary care. He treated patients in Twain Harte for six years and moved to Greenley Primary Care in July, 2011. Away from work, Dr. Behymer enjoys travel, archeology, studying world religions and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
