Please avoid this dealer at all costs. This is the new Sonora Sam dealer that just opened recently. I mad a offer on a new Dodge ram . Jarrod was my sales person . He was very knowledgeable about the truck. I was also talking to another sales guy Dan . Everything is going very smoothly and I made dan an offer for the truck. He accepted it. I did all the negotiation. Dan even shook my hand. I was a little bummed because I did not get much for my trade in. I set my wife in to do the paperwork because everything was going to be under her name. Jarrod repeated the offer that I made to her and told her that I bet that she was surprised they took my offer. She went into the finance office. I had two kids with me that I was taking care of. I went in and checked on her and they asked if she wanted a extended warranty which we decided to get. They previously assured me how honest and straight of a dealership they were . I trusted them . Everyone was so nice . I didn't think they would do anything wrong or dishonest. The next day I ended up looking at the paperwork and noticed a mistake in it. The pricing was completely different than what we originally agreed upon . There was also quite a few extra things added to the loan . They basically add a bunch of things to the loan on every vehicle they sell and there's really not much you can do about it. $500 for glass protection seems kind of ridiculous I can buy about four front windows for that. I went back right away and talk to Dan about it . He basically told me they didn't accept my offer but never told me. They sent me to the finance manager who tried to confuse me about the final price. I ended up going back again and talk to Jarrod about it . He was super cool and said they would take care of it. He referred me to the finance manager. I'm sure they did not want to lose their cut of this profit they made. They would not budge or help me in any way. They also would not let me talk to Jarrod . Which upset me quite a bit. I'm sure they did not want to lose their Commission. I went in three times to try to fix this with no luck. They also showed us a printout for the final sale that we never saw and did not have our signature on it. Everything out of the sales managers mouth was a lie. Basically this is a dealership that has extremely shady employees that will do or say anything for a dollar . Money is more of a concern than their reputation. They take advantage of woman . They would not fix the price or take the vehicle back. If I would have known the price I would have walked away and drove to a different dealership and got a lot more for my money. Jarrod seems like a pretty nice sales guy working with a bunch of crooks. I hope he can find a job somewhere else when the new owners run this place to the ground .
Warning: After having to drive 5 hours round trip (because General Manager Kelly Robinson refused to take calls, respond to email, or phone messages), he informed me that his dealership had processed a good deal and had a right to the vehicle sitting on their lot (even though they had taken a car in on trade two weeks earlier with no title or proof of request for duplicate title from DMV)... Worse yet, when DMV first advised me that a release of liability had been issued to Sonora Ford but no other paper work processed through DMV, the Finance Manager, Steve, told me over the phone that the car was indeed on their lot and that I HAD TO bring them in the title. Of course, I told him that I didn't think so and asked why they didn't at least ask that a duplicate title be signed... How Sonora Ford thinks that they are going to be able to legally resell the car is beyond me. All the further information they could provide was that they were not releasing the vehicle and preferred it be resolved as a civil matter. What a headache. The courtesy of a return call is the least level of customer service they could have provided, but NO, a return call has never showed up in my phone logs :-( :-( :-( WOW, now instead of trying to straighten any misunderstanding he may have with DMV in processing his sales, I just got an email from the General Manager, again, demanding I give him the title or he was going to sue me for the title WOW :-( :-( :-(
These sleazy sales people are crooks. They make promises and lie... there are numerous people with their own horror stories of buying used cars from one of their lots.
I would rate less than 1 star if I could. These people are crooks. Took in my f250 to get new transition installed with a warranty for a total of $5000. I year later transmition breaks again and when I get the vehicle there they make every excuse of why it broke and that's it's not there fault. They will not pay to fix the vehicle or honor the warranty. Let's just say I am going to take them to small clams court, and I have emailed ford motor company.
No one ever called me about not having my Navigator ready. I had to call to find out it was not ready when promised. Took 4 days to repair air system that should have only been 1-2 days. Got my vehicle back in worse condition than when I took it in for the repairs. Wanted more money to maybe fix my SUV
They are so unprofessional, they don't care about their customers. They will rip people off. I hate going there! Don't go to them. I got a car from them and they did not help me with the damages even though I had a full coverage warenty.
