Good service, should offer an economy oil change

$39.95 for a basic oil change, but it does include alot of other things, such as adding, coolant, wiper, transmission, brake, and all other fluids, vacuum the interior, washing windows, pretty good service overall.... you should offer an economy oil change for under $25

Dont Risk your car to this place!

I would not recomend this place to anyone, having been a mechanic and having taken my car there for sercvice i can honestly say that you are better off going to a small place or jiffy lube. The price charged is ridiculious, almost 35 dollars for an oil change???? I can also tell you that they charge 3 dollars for a oil plug gasket that costs all of 25 cents. There are holes in thier shop floor from neglect. the waiting area is never clean. And the employees act as though they dont want you there from the time you arrive to the time they hurry you out the door. it took 7 minutes to do all that they say is included in thier service. if that were true then these guys are either straight from the pits of a daytona race or missing alot in thier process. They didnt vacume my car, the windows were not washed, half of my fluids were not even checked, and not two days after I had gone there i had spoken to a fellow employee at work who had sent thier daughter there and she had her ipod stolen out of her car while it was in for thier ""signature service"". When you drive by the place do yourself a favor and just keep on driving to midas or somplace other than this.

False Advertising

I recently bought a home in Dover, NH, and received a 'gift certificate' in the mail from Papa Bear advertising a FREE oil change. I brought it to the Somersworth location where they changed my oil. After ringing through the coupon the man said I still owed $2.99. I asked why, when my coupon said FREE oil change. He said, ""the oil change was free, the gasket if not, it costs $2.99."" I'm not an unreasonable person, and I know it's only $2.99, but I think that is false advertising, and if they were still going to charge even a penny, it should have been in the fine print...which it wasn't. I'm very disappointed and will never go there again. ~Heidi

Great Customer Service

I have been bringing my car to Papa Bear Care Care Center for several years. I have found their care repair service to be fast, thorough, price competitive, and honest. They offer a service plan called the Car Care Club that helps people save money on car maintenace service that really helps keep car repair costs down.
I drive about three thousand miles each month back and forth to work, so I get an oil change every month. Papa Bear has all my car service on record , on computer, and lets me know when its time for other scheduled maintenace. I haven't had a roadside breakdown in over five years since I started bringing my car to Papa Bear.
Papa Bear Car Care Center stands behind their work too. A couple weeks ago, I noticed my power steering belt was skipping and squealing . When I brought it in to Papa Bear Car Care, they said they knew the belt was still under warrenty because their computer record showed I had the belt replaced a couple months ago. They replaced the belt free of charge. Not even a labor charge.
I've been to other repair shops in the area, but none have the great service I've found at Papa Bear Car Care Center.
Sincerely, Janet
