Snohomish Fire & Rescue, also known as Snohomish County Fire District 4, is a rural fire department that focuses on the protection of life and properties of its residents. It serves more than 25,000 people in an area that is spread over 60 square miles. The department offers rescue and emergency medical services. Snohomish Fire & Rescue manages a staff of nearly 90 people who respond to approximately 3,000 alarms annually. The department provides advanced life support services during hazardous material incidents. It offers rescue services during fire and road accidents. The department conducts public education classes, as well as provides space for organizing community and special events. Snohomish Fire & Rescue is governed by the City of Snohomish in Washington.
