The food & prices are great and a true bargain considering portion sizes but if you hate noise please stay away! Every time we have tried to go, and maybe it's just very bad luck... We always seem to be seated next to screaming children whose dinner should have been hours ago or large, foul-mouthed groups who linger in boothes all night. The quality and low prices can unfortunately lead to bad company. Never had a problem with service or food at all but hate feeling that my friends must "yell" or lean in close to have a conversation! Even servers have apologized for the atmosphere without us making a complaint or asking to be moved. Top marks for the food, service, portions and prices but the atmosphere can be awful at times.
Hickory Falls is one of our favorite local places to take family and friends. They have a nice variety of food from salads, chicken, beef, seafood and pasta dishes. I think even the pickiest of eaters would be satisfied with their chicken tenders, hamburgers, or club sandwiches. Most of their dishes would be considered American with some having a southwestern, Mediterranean or Hawaiian influence. My mother in law and I loved the gyros but I believe they may have been a seasonal dish. The atmosphere is cozy like a lodge with dim lighting and a stone and lumber interior. If the timing is right, I feel this place can be one of smyrna's more romantic nights out.
Great atmosphere and great food. Sort of reminds me of the way shoney's used to be, even the prices. Order the onion ring tower with cajun ranch dipping sauce for an appetizer. If you manage to eat it all, you may not be hungry for your main meal. I always order the kids chicken tenders and fries (3pc) and it totally fills me up, and I love food! Take the whole family, it's worth every penny.
I had the grilled chicken for dinner tonight along with the mac and cheese. This was my first time having the grilled chicken and I loved it. It was so moist and not dry. This location always has great customer service and speedy takeout when you preorder
The service was excellent! But the food left something to be desired. The okra was over cooked as was the fish my husband ordered. The scrambled eggs I ordered were undercooked. The rest of the food was mediocre.
I would recommend this restaurant. Its food, service, wait time and willingness to please is great. The food is beautiful and the portions are filling.Wishing I lived in Tenn.so I could return.
Awesome lunch options, especially the pick 2 or pick 3. The croissants are always light, flaky, and delicious and try the peach tea if you are a fan!
I love eating at Cheddar's! The service is always fast and efficient. Food is delicious and very reasonably priced.
A great place for traditional southern foods. Service can be slow at times but the god is always very good.
We've had mixed experiences here. The food has usually been good but the service has been hit or miss.
