This place is absolutely disgusting.....
- We quickly decided what we wanted to order….yet it took about 30 minutes for our waiter to come by to introduce himself and take our food & beverage order.e barely stopped to drop the food onto the table and then took off. He never asked if we needed anything else and NEVER came back. No refills, etc.
- When we started the food to eat .. the enter place is too hot ..we asked about the Air-cooler to waiter he had not to say
- After we finished our food, we didn’t see our waiter for another 45 minutes. We finally had to stop a different waiter just to get our check so we could leave, we were VERY disappointed with the service. We paid our bill in full and then left without leaving him a tip.

Chin Chin in Smyrna is one of the best spots for Chinese delivery and/or sushi rolls when you dine-in at the restaurant. The pot-sticker appetizers are phenomenal and I prefer to order the sushi “daily special” rolls because they are made with the season’s freshest catch. The only menu item I am continuously shocked by is the egg-drop soup, which tastes of dirty dish water.

Went to Chin Chin for lunch on a weekday with my 2 yo daughter. From the minute we walked in our waiter was extremely unfriendly and just completely annoyed at having to get my daughter a high chair, bring me a lemon for my water & duck sauce for the crunchy noodles. He scowled at my 2 year old when she smiled at him to give him a ""high-five"". He left the table as I was speaking to him, but did return and heavily placed the duck sauce and lemon on the table. I asked if I could order the sweet & sour chicken lunch, vegetarian-style with tufu. He said ""NO"". Now, I have eaten at this vegetarian-friendly restaurant before for dinner and there is an entire page of vegetarian entrees where the chicken is replaced with tofu. I asked him if they were just out of tofu, and he said, it is $3.00 extra for tofu instead of chicken"". Even knowing the price of chicken far exceeds the price of tofu, I just said, ""OK then, I will just order the dinner portion since that is less that adding on the $3 to the lunch portion"" (and it was). He says ""No, I wont do that for you, you buy lunch & pay me $3 extra!"". Feeling really unnerved (and hungry), I obliged and just said ""OK"". Then he asked what kind of soup I wanted, and I said ""whatever you have that is a vegetarian base is fine"". He rolled his eyes at me, walked away about 3 feet, then proceeded to turn around and THROW THE HARD-BOUND MENU RIGHT AT ME.
I was in shock, but proceeded to get up with dignity, get my daughter out of the chair to leave (I couldn't hold back the tears). I asked for the manager, and there was my waiter, across the room at another table taking their order and he YELLS at me ""YOU LEAVE! You too much trouble for me! Lemon, duck sauce, tofu, YOU LEAVE NOW""!
I had already had one foot out the door on my own free will but this just solidified my decision to leave & never return. I kept thinking I was getting Punk'd and that this was a practical joke...unfortunately, it wasn't.

Hey, I was a little apprehensive about writing this review because I didn't want everyone to find out about this place, but because I enjoy it so much and really want them to do well, so I am writing this review.
I thoroughly enjoy this restaurant and would recommend this to anyone who likes Chinese food, but also to someone who has never tried it before (like my friend who I took there last week).
I go to Chin Chin's about 2 times a month after church for their Sunday special (11:30-5:00). This includes one of 11 main courses, the Mongolian Beef being my favorite, a choice of wanton or egg drop soup, and a choice of mango, coconut, or green tea ice cream. They also give you fried noodles to dip in duck (sweet) sauce and a spicy mustard sauce at the beginning of your meal.
The servers are and have always been complimentary with the exception of a man who was very snobby but has since been fired (thankfully). There are usually low crowds to no one else there on Sunday afternoons, but I am sure this changes around dinner.
They have a wide assortment of delicious items on the menu including what I have heard to be a very good sushi bar (although I am not a sushi person myself).
The dining ambiance is peaceful and pleasant. The interior decoration is not overdone, but refined and tasteful. There is light Chinese folk music playing and the decor is nice. I was thoroughly impressed with the mens bathroom which is clean and surprisingly beautiful. The raised blue glass sink is a nice fixture.
The setting is quiet and I would say is more suited for a date or a family with older children, but I would think bringing younger children would be fine as well (they just need to behave themselves when I'm there). : )
This is overall a wonderful restaurant and I would recommend this to anyone. I'm James, your regular 17 year old guy and I hope you try this restaurant soon!

Our family love chinese food and notice a ChinChin open up in Smyrna, we give it a try on a saterday night, our experience with dine in is that although the service is decent, the food is some of the worst chinese we come across in Atlanta, I am sorry but we certainly won't go back again.
ps, I have talk to a chinese co worker about my chin chin experience and found out that although there is many Chin Chin location, he told me that the restaurant is actually a build and sold operation by a gentleman from taiwan to whoever want to pay and use the name, after a visit, I certainly believe it

This is the second time that I've had a horrible experience at Chin Chin. The first time I ordered a dish that was very salty. It took me awhile to go back and sure enough another bad experience acquired. The food wasn?t that great and the waiter was not personable at all. When we went to pay for our meal the waitress gave us our totals which were incorrect. The totals were different from the menu price and when she realized that I was right she wouldn?t give us the amount on the menu. The owner was on the phone and not very helpful at all. He did not give us the service that we should have received from management. We told them it wasn?t right and they should inform customers of the change. If you have false advertisement then give the customer the amount they saw.

Went in to find white table clothes and an empty location. I thought this was going to be a mistake. Well, I was mistaken. Upon ordering, saw a small army of cooks began preparing my families order. Food was plentiful and wonderful. Great spring rolls as starter and fresh sushi available. ...Have been back several times!!!

Have been going to this restaurant since it opened. The quality, service and prices have been consistent throughout. I am surpised to hear that someone would have had a dissapointing experience. Chin Chin is a big plus to the Smyrna/Vinings neighborhood. Try it, you be the judge. PS- The sushi is very good and they also have a Sunday buffet.

Chin Chin has long been one of the few Chinese restaurants in Atlanta that I consistently like. Now they've opened one in Smyrna, conveniently located to Cumberland Mall and Vinings. And the food is just as great as ever! The atmosphere is quiet, the staff friendly, and the price is right. Great place for lunch or dinner.
