Counter staff was friendly and attentive, and my Italian Sub (with Prosciutto) was delicious! Looking forward to trying the roast beef next week for lunch! :)
Today was my last visit to Casapulla's at their Smyrna location. On my first visit I found the food a bit pricy, but the two subs were very good. On my second visit and todays visit I was not impressed with the food or with the staff. I wasn't greeted when I approached the counter, even though I was the only customer at that time. I just stood there waiting for one of the two male employees to acknowledge that I was there. I ordered my two subs and watched as my order was being cooked. I walked for a few minutes to watch the news on their wall mounted tv. I looked over to the cashier and saw my order was ready. For some reason my wife's sandwich was ready, but mine sandwich wasn't ready even though they were cooked at the same time. I have a feeling mine was made incorrectly or dropped or something as the cook looked like he was remaking my sub. Got home and found my wife's sandwich was loaded with mayo.and mayo wasn't even requested. This makes the second time I've had a sandwich made incorrectly and both times it was the same error...loaded with mayo. The female manager apologized to me, but then asked me if I wanted something more she would have to go get the "big" manager. She made it sound like I was their to get a newly made sandwich and my money back. I was quite embarassed that they would treat me this way. I had to leave my supper, drive from Clayton back to Smyrna to get a sandwich and she wanted to know if I wanted something more than just the sanwich. Very poor customer service and what seemed to be non-carring staff.
ms norma did a great job on my chickenchesse steak and my chessesteak i haven't had one like that around here. keep up the good work.
