Dussinger's Quality Stoves

We purchased a remote-controlled gas fireplace insert from this "business" in 2008 for $6k. This year the remote control unit failed. I unplugged the receiver unit and took both the handheld remote and receiver to their location to be evaluated (assuming that only one of the components had failed). Upon arriving I was greeted by a pretentious oaf who informed me that "clearly you didn't buy that here!" When I informed him that clearly I had (and they both sold and installed it), he further pontificated that testing the unit was pointless because they only sell both parts as a set (Wrong!) These people had no trouble taking my money, but when the time came to provide the most basic type of technical support, they not only were useless, but condescendingly ill-mannered. Suffice it to say that I consider myself a reasonable human being, but that simpleton behind the counter will never know how close he came to having his head put through the nearest wall!

After a month of trying to buy a stove we gave up. They wouldn't call us back, even after a consultation, we never received a quote to move forward with the purchase. Don't waste your time.
