Kevin Vesey, MD, attended Stuyvesant High School and graduated Cum Laude from City University of New York Brooklyn College with a degree in chemistry. He completed his MD from SUNY Downstate in 1980 and performed a surgical internship at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset and an orthopedic residency at The Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.Dr. Vesey began his practice in Smithtown in 1985 and has remained there since. He is past president of the medical staff of the former St. Johns Episcopal Hospital (now St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center) and has been president of the Eastern Long Island Chapter of the American College of Surgeons.Dr. Vesey specializes in knee and hip reconstructions and is currently chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center and is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
