Called to make a appointment for a facial and massage with a gift card from my daughter for my birthday. While making the appointment the girl informed me that to hold my appointment i needed to give her a credit card number. I needed to pay for the services before i got them. I ask even though this is a gift card that was already paid for and she said yes. No where was this ever told to my daughter if she would have known she would have not purchased it. This is outrageous and poor business to pay twice for services not even received. I will never go there. And the better bussiness bureau will be notified.
Nice staff & the massage was great! Loved all the membership freebies I got for joining. The appointments book fast and I do wish the massage oil was fragrant. Other than that, I loved it!
Don't waste you time or money! First, the customer service is awful. The lady who "greeted" and massaged me was extremely rude. I paid using a debit card, which they ran twice because they supposedly didn't understand their own debit card machine, and said "no English"! Hate to be so cynical, but the whole thing seemed to be very rehearsed.My checking account was charged twice for the same awful massage, which required 3 phone calls and almost an hour of my time to get the charge reversed.
I'm a 'vereran' massage receiver.���� I've been to SuperRelax, Woodhouse(fav!!) and have a therapist come to my home. The receptionist,Dylia,was very sweet,but that's my last compliment. The AC was having problems (staff confirmed this).Although I let the therapist know throughout that I'd never had 'this kind' of massage, I wish I had simply said 'this massage is absolutely hands down, the worst I have ever had in my life!!' But there's something very vulnerable about being unclothed/on this table that kept me from saying what I felt. Melissa's technique was something I'd never experienced before/she referred to myofascial release when I asked 'what are you doing?'. I've had MF release, this was not what it is! I revceivee absolutely no benefit whatsoever. And this is how the front desk handled it when I reported my dissatisfaction...nothing! I called following and that receptionist said 'we've never had complaints on Melissa before'.... unbelievably poor management,social skills and handling of customer satisfaction. I was also disconnected during the call and the girl didnt bother to call me back! (Yes, they had my number)At the Woodhouse on only ONE occasion (out of 15 visits) I wasn't as happy with my massage and so emailed the owners following. I received an email same day, apologizing and saying they'd make my experience right and chose a therapist for my stated needs free of charge! I've gone to that wonderful therapist,Maria, a dozen times!! I will happily return to the Woodhouse and even Super Relax has some great therapists! Angel Kahler, who has a practice and makes house calls is AWESOME also....(Additionally, the 'lotion' or product that is used at Massage Envy is bad...not a nice smell, and Melissa hardly used any.... so friction was a problem because she used too sparingly.)Again, Melissa was a nice enough person, but did not listen and talked WAY too much!!
