Their roast beef po-boy is the best I've had. Dripping with gravy &sooo messy but delicious. I've heard their hamburgers are great too but I always get the roast beef po-boy cause it's so good.
Excellent food and service will recommend this restaurant to everyone
We stopped coming here about 6 years ago because the quality of service & food going downhill. We decided to start coming back in 2015 & it's better than it has ever been. If you haven't been here in awhile, come back, you'll be pleasantly suprised. Classic filet & Al's cheesecake for desert, a few of my favorite choices.
From out of town and a local recommended Southside for drinks, food , football and fun. Not so much. Staff wasn't friendly, asked to watch a certain football game on one of the several televisions that are located throughout the restaurant and the manager seemed aggravated to so. Nice selection on menu and good food. Very loud and cramped trying to get to a table around the bar . But terrible customer service and that's what makes an enjoyable experience.
Desiree was an excellent waitress. She was polite, fast and very helpful with food choices. Very happy .
My boyfriend and I just moved to this side of town and we had been craving Waffle House for months. We order our usual All Star Breakfast and I order mine with sunny side up eggs. When our order arrived it all came in separate pieces and our toast was totally forgotten, my eggs were almost totally raw (still clear and slimy throughout), my grits were so lumpy and hard I couldn't even bother with them, and the service all but pleasant. We know where we won't be going from now on.
Great food and service. Amber, my waitress anticipated my every need. A must to visit! Make sure you meet one of the owners, Billy! Nice Guy!
Awesome steak. Great atmosphere and the tenderloin steak is to die for. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Well below expectations. Just a average hotdog.
I had the best steak outside of Texas at Young’s Restaurant. I had this huge 32oz steak that I couldn’t finish. It tasted like it was cooked on an open fire pit. If you visit the New Orleans area make sure you stop over in Slidell and visit Young’s Restaurant. You won’t regret it!
