I am from Slidell and just came out. I stumbled upon Billy's by accident. I am so glad that I did! It is such a friendly place and a place that I can be who I am and have no worries. I am effeminate and feel out of place in most bars, but Billy's was like an oasis where I felt very comfortable. The bartenders John and Rex were great! Thank you Billys for giving Slidell a place where everyone can be comfortable.
I'm not sure how this place stays open. It's rarely got a crowd. I like it because it is nonsmoking and it has an outside area, but it's always empty.
Thus place could be nice, but there are never any young people, and more than one bartender pocketed my change on multiple occasions. Apparently it's a common problem.

Just terrible human beings that don't understand how to treat people . will NEVER go back.
Shady bartenders that over charge and pocket the rest! Take advantage of the old guys and charge $18 for 1 drink! Rip off alert!!!
