Patrick Studley, L.Ac. is a New York State Licensed Acupuncturist and founder of Hudson River Acupuncture, serving the health care needs of Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown, Westchester County, New York. Patrick is a Diplomat in Oriental Medicine (Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine) certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He is certified by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM) in clean needle technique. Patrick graduated from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City with a Master of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM). Hudson River Acupuncture is a community style acupuncture clinic. Treatments are given in recliners and patients can stay as long as they like. Many patients rest with the needles for an hour or more. Most needling is done at the elbows and knees and below, so there is no need to undress. The community style allows more patients to be treated in a given hour which allows the fees to be lower. The lower fees allows patients to get more frequent treatments. The combination of longer needle time and more frequent treatments greatly improves results.
