From out of town and your car has issues can mean easy $$ in the eyes of most auto repair shops. Chris did not take advantage of our situation. We pulled in unannounced just after 9am today, Chris confirmed the PS problem and had it fixed before we finished breakfast at the Headless Horseman across the street. We made it on time to my student’s graduation from Guiding Eyes which was the reason for our travel. Chris was even going to offer us his Camaro if our car couldn't be repaired in time to make this special event. Wow, honest service with a caring attitude. Thanks for 'Paying it Forward' Chris! (Go watch the movie) Sleepy Hollow is lucky to have people like you.

"Recently took my 2001 Buick Century to Mickey's Automotive for brake replacement and an oil change. I dropped it by without making an appointment because the ""grinding"" happened over the weekend. Graciously, Mick and Christopher fit me in for that day and found the problem with the front brakes - it wasn't just pads - and promptly repaired them. They performed my oil change as well. While checking out other details of the car, they found that one of my front wipers wasn't working and repaired that problem as well. They replaced the wiper blades, which were worn and cleaned my windows to boot!At Mickey's Automotive, they are thorough, fast and honest. Thank you."
In this current economy, it is nice to visit a place with friendly, knowledgeable and courteous staff. This is truly a first rate shop. I brought my 2001 Chevy Tahoe into the shop, hooked on a tow truck. By the afternoon, I was driving away. Christopher and Mickey were both friendly and provided great customer service, along with the repair of my vehicle. These guys were so efficient, that on the same day, I brought my wife's Passat for repairs as well. So there you have it. One domestic vehicle, one foreign vehicle...one great shop! After you read this...just go! Really!
"I can' t say enough good things about this place. I can sum itup with this phrase. Modern technology with a Mom and Popatmosphere. My 79 VW beetle broke down right down the streetfrom the shop. Walked into the shop and was immediately greeted withwarmth. Chris and Henri were great. They got be back on theRoad the same day. Remember 1979 VW beetle parts aren't easilyavailable. This place is how every business should be run. if you are lookingfor a honest place to bring your car for repair..look no further."
There were some repair for the blinker switcher and gas gauge with our car. My wife and I share one car in our household. We were simply amazed that after the car was repaired, they delivered the it to our home as we were wondering how to get to their shop! To another surprise, since the parts were still under warranty, there was no charge! What a treat this was! Thank you, Mickey's Automotive. We will continue to be your faithful customers!
As always, Mickey's was there when we needed them. It was noon on a Saturday when we discovered the trouble with our car. Mickey's was closing for the day any minute. I called and they said that I could drop it off, or that they would come and get it if necessary. Knowing that they are willing to take a few extra minutes to help me on a weekend is reassuring.
The service was prompt and efficient. I love coming here to have my service! Mickey is a GREAT owner, Paul does great work, and John is fantastic with the customers and will help you with whatever you need and will give you the best deal he can. Will never go to another shop, best place I’ve ever been! highly recommended!!!!!!! Keep up the great work guys!
You guys are great. Timely, courteous, professional and first-rate service. Honest and dependable. You are my new mechanic shop for all of my vehicles. John the service guy is approachable, polite, and professional. Ladies...if you are looking to get your car fixed, John's a good guy. Respectful. He can explain things in a way anyone can understand it.
Love Mickey's. Love their service. Love their mechanics. It's a great family business...and they treat their employees like family, too, and I say this because everyone is courteous and service-oriented. John the front desk guy is great to talk to because he explains things thoroughly and simply. We take all of our vehicles to them now.
Mickey's Automotive is one of the best places I've ever taken my car. Mechanic explains car issues in terms that even the non-mechanic can grasp. They are trustworthy, courteous, friendly and honest. If we were to move away from the area we'd be tempted to bring our car back for servicing. Mickey's is great!
