I STRONGLY advise that if you are NOT local that you NOT use these people. When I ordered my sisters headstone I informed the lady that I lived out of town and would like to be notified BEFORE the headstone was set so that I could travel to Lubbock. She assured me that they would and it was there policy to call prior to the headstone being sit and they would also email a picture one it was set. She stated it would take about 6 weeks to make the marker. I called on 4/24/13 to see if they had a date yet and was told that the marker was not finished yet and it would be two more weeks; I was told that the lady that does the scheduling was out but if I left my # I would receive a call the following day with the exact date/time it would be sat. After not receiving a call, I called back today (5/6) to again inquire on when it would be sat, after holding for a minute the man came back on the line and said "that marker was set on 4/2/13". I immediately broke into tears but after I composed myself I asked was he sure because when I called on the 24th I was told that it wasn't ready, not to mention that I was told it would take 6 weeks to make the stone and 4/2 was only 2.5 weeks after I ordered it. He VERY casually said "I'm pretty sure" and then even more casually said "SORRY" and paused as if to say. I informed him that I had NOT gotten a call or email and when he confirmed my email address it was WRONG so I'm like how did you have the right email address to send the bill, but NOT the right one to notify me. Then when I asked if he could send me a picture he said yes, and I said when and he said I will try to get someone out there this week! And ONLY after my insistence did he agree to send it tomorrow..which personally I don't believe will happen. So long story short...they were all nice and friendly until I paid but were INCREDIBLY unsympathetic after their MAJOR screw-up.



UPDATE: 5/7/13 - I've revised my rating because I did get a call from the manager (Linda) who profusly apologized for what happened and offered to refund part of my money, which I declined. I explained to her it wasn't about the money and I do realize that mistakes happen, but it was more the fact that 1) 2 weeks prior I was told the marker was not ready and 2) the gentleman's unsympatheic so what attitude - and that no amount of money could compensate me for that.. They did email the pic's today as promised and the marker was made as ordered and placed in the correct location. I only give 3 stars because I am still not confident that this won't happen to someone else in the future so I strongly suggest that if you are out of town that you call them WEEKLY to check the status of your order.
