Spent thirteen dollars on three hamburgers they were cold the mushroom burger had very few mushrooms the buns were soggy my wife gave hers to the dogs at least they ate them unlike the time she gave her McDonald's burger to them and they walked away and they were over cooked don't waste your money!
I tried the fried chicken, with mashed potatoes and green beans. The chicken was okay. It would be nice to have hot sauce available. The chicken itself was piping hot. The potatoes are so-so: in a place famous for their Butter Burgers, the potatoes could probably use some. But the gravy isn't bad. The green beans were far too salty, nearly inedible. I only got one tiny pat of butter for the bread, which wasn't enough. The music had been turned off, which was nice. The usual diet of oldies at most Culver's is unpleasant. Oldies just make me feel old. The new floor staff isn't at 100% yet but you can tell they're attentive and trying to learn the routines. If I'd had a Butter Burger and fries, I'd certainly give the place an extra star or more, and I'll be back. But on this trip, the green beans literally left a bad taste in my mouth.
great food on the buffet. that's what I had. the only thing I would change is not put so much cinnamon in the desert.
Another Sioux City, IA business that advertises Made To Order and serves food that has been sitting and is cold. Made To Order means just that. Order THEN make food. Nothing worse than cold fast food.
Don't eat here. The food is not "made to order" as promised in the advertising. Neon sign & printed on the bag. If you get hot fresh food it will be by accident. Nothing worse than cold fast food. I have complained to mgmt & corp headquarters and they do nothing to fix the problem. It is too bad. My family and I like Sonic. Guess we'll have to go to the Sonic in Omaha when we are in town. Will never go to the Sonic in Sioux City, IA again.
