Quality Appliance was a good company and had served my family for quite some time. They repaired many appliances for us. However, times have changed. I called for a technician to repair my stove. He came out but waited in his truck for a good 20 minutes before knocking on my front door. I had a room mate answer the door while I was at work. The technician just took a picture of the stove and never gave me a callback. A month later the store asked me for my address. Even though I was on file, I was sent a bill just for him taking a damn picture. It's 79 dollars for them to look at the problem. Just call Karl's appliances or just get a new appliance.
I was referred to quality appliance for a warranty repair on my wash machine. I had to call & reschedule the time for my repair. I was told someone would call me back to do so & I did not receive a call so I called again & had to wait another 4 days for someone to come out. On the scheduled day nobody showed up so I called AGAIN & was scheduled for the following day. The technician who repaired my washer did not come prepared. I had to give him one of my pots to use to empty the water out of my machine as well as several towels. The technician ended up spilling a large amount of water that sat in my washer for over a week onto my carpet as well as the tile floor under my washer & into my bathroom! He did not bother to clean any of it up! He apologized & told me I should probably put a fan on it! After he left I called quality appliance & told them what had happened & the receptionist apologized & said we'll have a talk with him when he gets back. Ha! I wasn't settling for an apology & a talk. I explained to her my carpet was soaked & someone needs to come & clean it up. She was very rude & told me that someone could not come back that same day. She was supposed to talk to someone to see what they could do & get back to me, which I did not recieve a return call by close of business. I called the following morning & again encountered the rude receptionist. There definitely was no sense of urgency to remedy the situation so I ended up speaking with the owner. He told me that he had ordered a carpet cleaner which should arrive within 3-45 days & he would come then to clean the mess up. Are u kidding me?! So I was expected to let dirty laundry water ferment on my carpet for probably a week before it would be taken care of! Not acceptable at all! He eventually offered to come with a shop vac to soak up the water that same day then come back to shampoo. He did send the same technician out with some type of spray and a tiny hose of some sort to clean it up. Needless to say I am left with carpet that is ruined & smells like wet dog as well as damage to my tile floor. From begining to eend thw entire experience was a nightmare! I give quality appliance 0 ☆'s! What a joke they are!
