        Since 1954 Korver Eyecare has been dedicated to providing complete and thorough Eye Exams for the whole family. Our founder, Dr. A.G. Korver, started this practice in Sheldon, Iowa. In 1980 Dr. Korver started practicing in Sioux City, Iowa and opened at 3539 Southern Hills Dr. in May of 1993. In June of 2008, we doubled the size of our office when we moved to 3535 Southern Hills Dr. This move allowed us to greatly increase the number of eye glass frames we display and services we provide. Dr. Korver leaves an legacy of commitment and dedication. His nearly 50 year career was marked by the desire to help others. Every patient, young or old, rich or poor, received the best care he was capable of delivering. He demonstrated his heart by making numerous volunteer trips to Third-World countries and performed countless eye exams for those less fortunate. Today, Dr Korver's tradition of providing exceptional eye care continues. We strive to exceed the expectations of our patients by:

        I love my new sunglasses! I would highly recommend Korver Eye Care I was a patient of Dr Korver going way back to the Sheldon days. He was great. Dr Brodersen is nice too. The new office looks Great! Keep up the good work. Thanks for everything

        I can't believe the lukewarm praise of the other reviews! Maybe I was fortunate but I think it's more likely that the way I was treated is the way everyone is treated at Korver Eyecare! They were friendly and helpful from the moment I called with my first question. I was shopping for a new provider as I lost my vision insurance and wanted value for my money. I sure got it here! Not only were their prices better than any I'd found in Siouxland, there service and products were the best! Dr. Brodersen was professional ad friendly. He made me feel welcome and comfortable as we discussed family and community related topics. The office staff went out of their way to set up my payment with a new line of credit I'd recently gotten for medical needs. I was able to leave it all to them which was good as I didn't know the first thing about using the card I had. A great visit and a place I will go out of my way to recommend! Tammy Rhoden

        Dr Brodersen is very good doc. however don't listen when they say they will put a rush on your glasses. doesn't happen.
