Overall

indian haweli is sooooo good food i realy like i tI went for dinner here with my family and we thoroughly enjoyed it. However, we were spoiled because the place was nearly empty and we were given their full attention. There are lots of Indian restaurants in the Simi Valley & Thousand Oaks. The decor in many of them is bland, unoriginal and/or not interesting. I would say indian haweli is consistent with the competition in the decor category and need of some more of Indian artwork you typically see in many of them. If you want great decor, head over the hill to Ventura County if you are up for the drive. I like great food and short drives which makes indian haweli tops on my list of great places for Indian grub.I recommend getting the "red basket" of Indian bread. You'll receive a variety of bread including onion kulcha, garlic naan and plain naan. Furthermore, they have great seafood dishes which is really unique and enjoyable when it is couple with Indian flavors. It's a refreshing upgrade from the basic chicken tandoori. They didn't have their liquor license yet ,which was great. We bought some wonderful beer at a store nearby and they were really easy going about it. They even opened it for us and brought us glasses. No "corkage" fee! ;)The prices were great and the indian haweli is outstanding. I strongly recommend giving Kwality a try and I think you'll enjoy an easy going unpretentious atmosphere with fresh food.,,

My All Spanish Friends now eats there regularly when craving the cuisine. Try it yourself.

Great Start

Valentine's Day 2008, another restaurant made a mistake and had an awful set menu so we went to this restaurant. It exceeded our expectations and management was very nice & professional. Better food than the other indian cuisine in T.O. and Ventura. If it had a better ambiance/decor, it would have been rated exceptional. My family now eats there regularly when craving the cuisine. Try it yourself.
