We phoned Sears for oven repair in mid December. It turns out that their in-house repair crew A&E) was swamped, so they sub-contracted Anderson to do the repairs.Appointment scheduled for 29 December. Anderson sent 3 reminders of the appointment, including one on the morning of the 29th. At noon, on the 29th they sent an email canceling the appointment. I did not see the email until much later, but took a day off work to meet the repairman. Anderson later sent an email with a new appointment on 17 January.I complained to the manager at Sears who immediately checked into the problem. She arranged for the regular Sears maintenance people to come 2 days later. That crew, A&E, showed up on time and did a very thorough job on our oven.Lesson learned: avoid Anderson Appliance Repair in Port Angeles, WA.Insist on Sears repair staff.
Serviceman arrived promptly, was knowledgeable, worked diligently, finished in a reasonable time frame! Found only one appliance needing parts - fixed it promptly. Was very pleased with service!
If we could rate Sears a negative 5 we would. Our original repair date was set for July 14th. Our parts for the dryer they were fixing had already arrived prior to this date. Sears cancelled and rescheduled 9 times! We had to go through calling that stupid phone number 9 times.... 9 TIMES! No one knew why we were cancelled, but continued to cancel us. Finally, October 9th our dryer was fixed. It literally took the repair man two seconds, and he took with him two extra boxes of parts that were sent to us. We run a very high traffic business that relies heavily on laundry. We pay for this repair service and expect some form of compliance in what we pay for. If for any reason someone is considering this service, do your homework before buying!
The scheduling for a repair was great. However, the repairman walked in the door knowing the problem, we told them ahead of time and the error code showed what was needed. He spent another 1 1/2 hours trying to diagnose and calling his people. Turns out after a $275. bill for a $15.00 part on our refrigerator it was the original error code showing. POOR WAY to run a service department. We will never buy a Sears appliance again. Repairman's response, some are bad right out of the factory!! Ours was 2 years old. Ridiculous.
Second repairman confirmed that I was taken by the first repairman. Now I stuck with a broken dishwasher, company does not care, they got their money. No wonder Sears is going out of business
I was scamed by the repair man, he took my dishwasher apart to do the initial inspection, put it back together, hit the circuit breaker, and charged me $250.00. He had 2 miner parts to order and scheduled a returned visit to replace them. When he returned me or my dog did not hear him knock so I missed him. I contacted the company and they said that he had reported the repair as completed. The part, were very minor so I installed them, tested the dishwasher and it was in the non working state as it was before he did his service. I then contacted the company and they scheduled another service visit. That repairman checked the machine, reset the circuit breaker and it was working again. He told me that I needed 2 circuit boards and that would bring the total repair over $640.00. The point is if I would have been told this from the start, I would have paid for the initial service charge of $70.00 and replaced the dishwasher. He has hobbled me with the big useless repair bill, and now I can't, I feel as though I have been taken advantage of, I'm 74years old and a lot of places like to scam the elderly.
Very good service from the furnace repairman Glenn technician #711648 While servicing our furnace he spotted a pipe water leak which would have flooded the furnace room . We caught it in time to reduce damages and repaired . Very happy and he went out of his way to clear the water . Thank You ever so !
The repair and service was very good. Once the problem was spotted the repair only took a short time. Very satisfied with the service.
These was one of the easiest experiences I have had with appliance repair. Got the appointment via a chat line, they came when they said, and repaired everything with nice discounts. Very helpful and knowledgeable repairmen.
I've been trying to get my refrigerator repaired since the first of May. Today is Aug 13. It was a week after I called for the 1st appt. Parts were ordered, arriving 2 weeks later. A part wasn't included in the shipment. Another week without a refrigerator. Finally the parts were installed, but repair didn't have the tools to finish the work, a couple more days to get it finished. The refrigerator worked for approx a month, then went out completely again! Once again a week for repair to come. Same problem! I was told a leak wasn't sealed properly the 1st time. Repair spent 3-4 hours sealing properly and refilled, and said it was fixed. An hour after repair left I discovered, yes the fan was running, but the refrigerator was not cooling down. outside. Once again I called for repair. This time the appt was only a few days, however repair was over booked and didn't make it to my home. Now another 10 days for repair. I'm not holding my breath it will actually get fixed then.
