There is definitely a reason why the overall score is so low on other sites. Colesville Travel has the potential to be a decent company if Cindy would learn how to effectively and efficiently run a business. If you are thinking about joining the team as a travel agent/consultant, you may want to think twice for the following reasons:1. Cindy is incredibly unhelpful when you have questions along the way. She speaks to agents as if they have silly questions/concerns, and generally provides a dismissive/borderline rude response. In general, her communication is curt and often abrasive for no reason.2. She struggles with accurate record-keeping and will accuse you of not having generated any business, even though she has paid you commission for your bookings.3. The yearly agent training session is garbage. Think death by PowerPoint. You're better off tapping into some of the free resources offered by different vendors. Cindy also does not offer any recurring training for the agents and there is no effort on her part to foster a team spirit.4. The trips that Cindy plans and encourages agents to sell are grossly overpriced. Often times I was able to find a comparable trip with a better price and itinerary through another company. The average person doesn't want to go broke traveling.I was initially very excited to join the Colesville team but the company did not live up to any of my expectations...at all. I've since joined another host company and am very pleased with the level of support that is available.
