Went for 3 years. Liked its nature, art, & play based aspects. Left for safety concerns & learning more about the Waldorf founder Rudolf Steiner. Sites below describe his involvement with the occult, & his racist statements (karmic hierarchy of souls from black to white). While AH & Waldorf seem to reject those racist statements, we would not have chosen school founded by man who made such statements & whose teachings were so central to school's underpinnings. I am posting so other parents may research criticisms & pro Waldorf sites. In my experience the school was not forthright with their beliefs. Several criticisms raised in sites below are consistent with my experience at AH. I was very involved volunteering at AH. Concerning aspects were very subtle and increased in the last year.https://sites.google.com/site/waldorfwatch/advice-for-parentshttps://sites.google.com/site/waldorfwatch/my-life-among-themhttp://www.waldorfcritics.org/http://www.steinermentary.com/SM/Welcome.html

From our huge playground surrounded by nature to our large and sunny classrooms, you will find SSNS a sharing and caring environment to learn through play alongside your child.
My kid looks forward to going to school every day because the teachers are awesome. The play-based style of learning works great and teaches the kids the essentials of life. I couldn't be prouder to be part of this school.
My 3-year-old daughter loves this school! She can't wait to go to SSNS every morning...and is sad when it's "not her day" to go to school. The teachers are truly amazing!
