The Wranglers Bar and Grill is a popular place to eat in Silver City. The food and service are great! The menu is varied - American or Mexican.
We took guests to Wranglers. Just 3 tables had people. We ordered, about 30 minutes we looked up and saw what we thought was our order sitting waiting to be picked up. We continued to watch as our waitress was talking with 3 other employees near the kitchen pickup window. This went on for probably 10 minutes or so. We could see that the cook continually tried to get the waitress attention but she continued to talk. Finally our the food came. Food was cold. There wasn’t any pepper we could tell in the mashed potatoes. I sent all 4 dinners back. I told the waitress to tell the cook that it wasn’t his fault that it was her fault. I explained to the manager about the food and asked for another waitress. About 8:45 our food arrived. Everything was hot except for one baked potato which wouldn’t even melt the butter when the soft butter was put on it. The mashed potatoes were extremely loaded with black pepper. My wife and guest couldn’t eat the mashed potatoes as they burnt (spicy hot) their mouths and my wife’s steak ($9.99) very chewy, 6 oz top sirloin I believe. My wife suffers terribly from stomach and intestinal problems. The manager was nice enough to take off the charge for my wife’s meal. I paid $43.23 approximately for the meals, the food was a disaster. Did the cook LOAD the potatoes with pepper to get even? Did he do something else to the meal that we’re not aware of? You can use your imagination. Just before 9 PM, TWICE some man Yelled at the top of his lungs that they were closing at 9 PM. They could have gone to each table and said that they were closing without yelling it out as they did. Wranglers only had two parties and a couple at the bar when this happened it was July 4. NOT COOL. The potatoes were really causing my wife to have stomach cramp and have diarrhea and found out about the complaints of my guests. Only 2000 words permitted but this restaurant is the worst place we've ever been.
Friendly service and great mocha with peppermint
the Talapia was served burnt to my wife and the 16 oz. medium Prime Rib I orders was only a 8oz. and well done neither my wife or I ate our meal but were still charged $58
